Our book has a large number of main page genres (MPG) which refers to the genres listed on the book page when you look on Goodreads. I underlined them in my post to help them stand out.
Also, we added a column to the SS to add the reason for the mini challenge. I put NA in the column for books already finished. Please feel free to ask any questions.

We have given each team a popular book from the 1980s.
As a team, you need to try and read as many books that you can connect with your 1980s book as possible. The ways the books "connect" is completely open to interpretation.
Creativity is the key to the challenge, not rules. You don't need a unique reason for each book read and connected.
For each book read and connected you will receive 10 points. As a team you can read a maximum of 40 books for this mini challenge.
If one of your team members also reads (and finishes) your assigned 80s book during the mini challenge, you will receive 30 bonus points. (There is only 30 points per team so although more than 1 team member is welcome to read the book, there are no extra points on offer)
Note: I highly recommend this is someone wants to read it and has not before.
◈ Books can be started at any point since the start of the UNO challenge (Feb 1)
◈ Books need to be finished after the start of this mini challenge on February 14, 9am UTC
Ways books could connect:
MPG Fantasy, YA, middle grade,adventure, classics, childrens, romance
British author, Name in title, possessive in title, features an elderly protagonist, features a witch, talking inanimate object, flying object on cover, castle on cover or takes place in a castle, prince in disguise, MC has sisters, hats, Books made into a movie, MC cursed, MC likes to clean etc...

I would agree that is not enough green.
Seconding, I have already switched the card I planned for my Green color card and am likely to do the same with my yellow card, as I just can't deal with 500+ page epic fantasy right now so feel free to plan or not as you like.

Val, I don't see where you added a book. Someone else should check in case it is my computer, but you may need to add it again. Great job on the reading.Also, great job JL and Gem. I hope to have some time to read tonight.
We are still early in the month and have the color cards covered. V's and I's are always good but read what you would like.
Glad it is Friday, making progress on my research and finished my 2nd book last night. It has been a rough week so would take any good escapism / fluffy book suggestion. Right now, I will not read miscarriage or child death. Anyone have any suggestions?

Öykü, sadly that one is only 75 pages.

Everyone else was good with it being green so I have it down as a green. Glad it is greener in person. My book is more yellow in person too.
I took the quesiton on yellow covers over to the captain group. I got a yes for my cover - Master of Poisons and a no for Gem's - Black-Eyed Susans so there we go.
