Val, I can see a read date for both now. I do not know if you changed something or it all may be GRs fault.

It doesn't for me but I think this may be a known GRs error. The date is there when I click on it. I have not run into it before. Thank you

I’m so sorry I keep forgetting to do that."Val, I'm sorry, but you have one version of Pretty Things on your read shelf and one on your UNO shelf. Can you make sure the one on your UNO shelf has a read date? Thank you

Charly, that is great that you are having a nice weekend. I should get some reading done today as I submitted a paper to a journal yesterday and have a rough draft of my next paper to send to advisors tomorrow.
Ingeborg, I have been meaning to read
The Once and Future Witches as I read her first one -
The Ten Thousand Doors of January. It was a good book and well written but very YA as the heroine came across as really naive and misses the obvious a lot. I am hoping the second one's characters are a little more competent.
Christina wrote: "I binge-listened all 9 1/2 hours of The Cousins yesterday until almost 5am lmao, I just couldn't stop! It was so good!!"I want to read that one soon. Glad you enjoyed it.

No worries, thank you for telling us

That sounds like great fun. I found a book I wanted to read at one of the little free libraries today but a full box sounds amazing.

A little over 8 hours until books can be finished again.
Here is the countdown since we are all in different time zones:

Charly wrote: "I have The Maze Runner by James Dashner, would this cover work for green? It's the first in the series too. Let me know your thoughts! I'm trying to figure out my other books too. I'll see if I hav..."I had time to check this morning and Maze Runner has been used by multiple teams in the past as green so you are good for Green 1.

I am good with green but would wait for others to vote too, as green versus black would be the question for the background.
Charly wrote: "Should I save The Four Winds and finish it next month since we finished all our books for this month?"That would be great if you don't mind

Good job everyone, we are down to 1 card left and it is a 2.
Also, if you cannot hold off books to Monday due to other challenges that is fine but please do if you can.
We also only have 2 color cards left to claim for next month and they are both Green 1s. Great job again
Charly wrote: "I’ll also be finishing 2 this week as well. Do you want me to use them for next month? Just let me know 😊"That would be great but in order to use them for next month, you would need to save the final few chapters/pages until Monday. The book can be started in February but must be finished in March.

You all are doing amazingly. We are down to needing only 4 more books (1, Skip, 2 and 6). Please keep an eye on updates as we finish the month because we need an extra 11 books next month, so once we get these four, please hold all other books until next month if you can. The mini is done.
Again, good job, everyone

We are down to 8 cards for Feb and only 1 more for the mini. Good job everyone

Christina wrote: "Val wrote: "would this work for 1 Green for next month?

I'm personally not sure since the title in white takes up a lot of space. What does everybody ..."So I looked up last year's captain's group and it was voted no so not enough green. Also, fun times, Christina you were the one who asked.
Val wrote: "would this work for 1 Green for next month?
"Looks about exactly half green to me so I would be good with it

It has to be the most specific stated so that would be a W or it can be the name of the town or even manor house. Places are harder to use.
