Awesome Whitney! Are you on book two?

It pretty much died here.

I used to have a job like that. I now have one where I’m not allowed. I miss being able to do that.

I can sort of understand at that speed but paying full attention is whole other story. 😂

1.25 is my sweet spot, but I can go up to 1.5, depending on the narrator. No further than that, though. I’ve heard about some people who listen at 2.0. Personally, I don’t know how they are able to do that. I can barely understand them at that speed.

I like to listen at 1.25x speed

The characters can certainly be difficult to remember and keep track of. There’s so many.

Awesome, Sandra! I’m currently on book 11, Knife of Dreams.

Yay! Thank you for commenting, Mindi. The series takes a change in the next book. I think that people find that it’s the book where they realize they’re in it for the long haul or decide to put it down, so I’m very interested in your thoughts when you get to it.

I think that the characters are one of the things that make this series so rich. Jordan was a master at creating character, I think.

I finished this yesterday and the battle at the end of this one was so well done! It blew my mind! Easily my favourite part of this book. That and the fact that Perrin and Loial are back in the story. I was beginning to think that they were forgotten.

Perrin meeting Faile’s parents was pretty funny.

The ending of Lord of Chaos absolutely blew my mind. That battle scene! It created some momentum for me. I’m hoping to get ahead again with book seven and eight being so short.

Awesome, Nate! I enjoyed this one more than EotW too. I especially enjoyed the battle at the end. I’m looking forward to reading your thoughts on Dragon Reborn.
