Ellis, I really like his writing!

8565 Maybe your last book, LaurLa, for this game will fit into another game during 2023...allowing you to finish this one.

Still you did good!

As always, this challenge restricted books added to TBR prior to the year it's being played so books must be on TBR prior to January 1, 2023.

LaurLa, the intent is that when the game starts on January 1 2023, the books will already be on the TBR.

8565 Congrats, Laurla!

And, every one else is very close with 1-2 books to go...all except me. I will finish in January with 5 to go.

8565 Well, just update post 5 as the last serial book I have finished was not a #1, but a #2.

8565 Meg wrote: "Bea, I always double up my books across different challenges. No way I'd finish them all otherwise"

LOL, Meg. And I have added two new challenges (ATY and PopSugar) to the many I participate in regularly (four GR groups, including this one).

8565 Meg wrote: "Bea: overstory, h for hawk, and lab girl were all 5 star reads for me. You have some great choices!"

Thanks, Meg. Now to just get around to reading them!

H is for Hawk is planned for two other challenges for 2023
Lab Girl is also planned for a 2023 challenge.

So...maybe The Overstory for PAS?

I checked out the others on my list and found that most are planned for at least one challenge next year. So...do I count one of these for this shelf or read one that isn't planned yet. Decisions!

8565 Found: I have 5 left. Reading one now. Three are on my desk. Will finish this one sometime in January, probably.

By the Month: Will not get the 6 rollovers done, although one is on my desk to be read.

Series: 2 left. Both owned.

I gave up on Trim 21-22 (11 left) and MM 22 (read 9/27).

Finished JRI and Lost.

Wow, LynnB! You are really reading your Owned books! I am trying to read more of mine, but somehow they always get pushed to the back behind the library books with due dates.

8565 I prefer mountains but like to visit beaches. Sea or lake seem much the same to me, but I do enjoy waves. Grass, definitely. Fur like my own fur baby. Flowers, though I have some succulents.

Well, I am impressed at how many on the first page I have marked down as Wishlist.

The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate: Discoveries from a Secret World
The Overstory
H is for Hawk
Lab Girl
Vesper Flights
Wilding

and then there is the Friends Recommend
Walden

Not sure which I will read yet.
