Ah...I bet I know what happened. Book 3 was not yet read on her TBR but it was showing me books I had read that were there...and giving me my rating. Thus I mistakenly thought she had read Book 3. Duh! Did that research too late at night for my brain.

8565 LaurLa wrote: "So my second longest book was 637 pp - I have a handful of books longer than that but they happen to be series books that are beyond where I'm at in the series - or haven't even started the series...."

LaurLa, I will let Tien answer your question, but I did notice that you have finished reading Book #3 of A Court of Thorns and Roses. I did not see the next book in your TBR but can highly recommend A Court of Silver Flames. It is book #4 and the end of the series. It is about 700 pages and would meet your needs if Tien approves.
8565 Well, I finished A Court of Silver Flames on January 1. I loved the book and was sorry to see that it was the final one of the series. This may be a series that will break my "I don't re-read" stance.

What a wild ride! My emotions were everywhere as I identified with Nesta. My goodness!

I was interested to learn that a lot of this book reflected the author's life and growth. What a woman she must be.

I highly recommend this series to everyone!

I second the Urban Fantasy nomination.

8565 Finished: A Sense Of Place for JRI3 and Blind Bingo
News of the World for MM 22

The Balloon Man for Found

I am so very glad for our games. I finished two books that I have intended to read for years and enjoyed them both.

Reading:
The Dressmaker's Gift for Found
Strangers on a Train for Found - Giving this book another chance as I have left it alone for about a week. Very slow start.
