It's been our logo for a while, though not always, and was made by Parker, who is brilliant. It's a teaspoon, rainbow coloured because slash. Why a teaspoon? Because The Slash Pile = TSP = teaspoon. I'm curious to here what your theory was, whether or not you got it right.
I know some people here who would start laughing maniacally at the idea of anthologies being fun. It would trail off into sobs.
Are there any new slash webcomics that are good? I probably know most of the old ones, but I haven't been paying much attention to new ones lately. Here are some good ones I don't think have been rec'd on LJ yet:
Findchaos
Purpurea Noxa
Spectre
I know, of course, most of you have come through from the LJ group. Welcome! I'm pretty sure there are some who found this group through Goodreads, though. I'm curious to know who found the group which way. So how did you find this group, from LJ or Goodreads?
Free PDF seems almost like it should be cheating! But I'm glad it'll be safe from deletion. Thanks for your help :)
Marleen, could you do me another librarian favour please? This webcomic: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...
It's an abandoned webcomic so it really shouldn't be on here in so many ways but that's not the point! The point is whoever added it did a poor job of it and it makes me sad.
Actual description:
A constable and a doctor meet one typical January night... and in the midst of murders and conspiracies, they form a bond that leads to things both wondrous and terrible.
And all my webcomic bookshelves would look way prettier if this was added for the cover: http://www.smackjeeves.com/images/upl...
Thank you :) Sorry to ask when it's not even something I added, but it's been bothering me. Odd one out :(
Haha, no thanks, I'm not even classification police on my own community. I just went back and removed everything I'd added to the slash shelf. I had this sudden dawning horror when I realised that it was just like when people used to tag stuff with 'slash' and 'gay' on our comm. NO THAT'S WHAT THE COMMUNITY IS FOR WHY.EDIT: Oh, and yes, that's actually what I thought when I started our LJ comm. I thought it'd pretty much just be me, but then... it wasn't.
Ahh, okay, so it's alright to play it by feel? On the LJ group this group is based on we have a fuckton of rigid classification rules, so I'm used to a lot of structure. Leaves me floundering when things are freer.Anyway, I've added some stuff that I liked a lot. Might add some more stuff. It's a good group :)
