Overall, entertaining. Its like riding a bull or bear at a Rodeo (animal choices intentional). Gotthelm is very cool; like Frazetta's Death Dealer.
Pacing alternates from easy-going/trope-filled village pillaging to high octane savagery and horror. Not sure where this is headed.

It's near Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Looks nice.

They sell some rare paintings and comics.

Periklis, you'll enjoy those.
Me... I'm looking the Berserker series by Carlsen/Holdstock. Going in on that... I usually like dark books, but some excerpts of those seem ultra-dark (too real?). Well, Ill see soon.

Ah! That would probably explain the title, then ... :)"
I just learned that a year ago at a rotating Viking museum exhibit at the Cincinnati Museum center. Was the key thing I took away.

Actually, Russia emerged from the "Rus" vikings...

TALES FROM THE MAGICIAN’S SKULL!
In just a few weeks, Goodman Games will launch the Kickstarter for the exciting new sword-and-sorcery magazine inspired by Appendix N. I am mightily pleased to be the magazine’s editor, and I’ve had a blast assembling it with Joseph Goodman. We’ve been working together for almost a year, and I’ve got to tell you that the result is GLORIOUS. Just check out that Jim Pavalec cover.

The Writer's Symposium was a fine edition to the gaming venues.

Was able to listen to and meet Howard Andrew Jones, and even had him sign several books including Black Gate 15 - Spring 2011.

Also got to meet in person a fellow contributor to Heroika 1: Dragon Eaters and Pirates in Hell, Jack William Finley.
