I think since hunter isn’t supposed to date non-werewolves they could go as singles or with other dates? we could have them hook up for the first time at the party...? I want to buid their friendship and fwb before jumping to romance (mostly cuz their backgrounds and personalities)

Alma's life has been quite ordinary, thank you very much. That is if you consider ordinary having a planner for every year since your seventh birthday and memorizing police codes at age twelve. Alma's parents migrated to Warwick from Mexico as youngsters, leaving their families behind in pursuit of a better life. Alma was always the organized (and slightly neurotic) person she is today. Other kids tended to tease her, as Alma preferred to organize the pantry than to go out and play, and she had few friends growing up.
Alma had always dreamed to become a police officer, and went to the academy straight after high school. She quickly became known for her intellect and being uptight, caring more about rules and order than nights out with friends. She left the academy with honors and integrated into Warwick's police department, slowly rising in ranks until she became a detective.
Alma lost her parents in a freak accident shortly after making detective. As a single child, she was used to being independent, but the strange circumstances of her parents' passing and weird dreams she keeps having recently are shaking her lifestyle. Alma is usually content working and watching horror movies on Saturday nights, she knows about the rumors, but the skeptic detective hasn't encountered the undeniable proof she needs to believe. Maybe when she sees that her weird dreams are actually visions, maybe then she'll start believing.

Oh Hunter. In Warwick it's pretty hard to miss someone you grew up with, and Lena was actually good friends with the boy. Unlike popular opinion, succubi didn't want to have sex with everyone they met. It wasn't that she didn't think the boy was attractive, he definitely was, but they had become friends in elementary school, before she had...changed. When she was Marlena Mae instead of Lena, before the parties and the booze when it was just swings and face paint. When you knew that much about someone, you can't feed on their energy. (or whatever it was that she did)
"I think I'll keep it." She whispered back, bending down to pick it up and rolling it around in her fingers. She hoped he wouldn't be a goody-two-shoes, because she was bored, and in desperate need of entertainment. "It doesn't look like you're gonna be missing it anyways."

Adam is somewhat of the black sheep of his family.The Newtons have always been in law enforcement, but Adam always felt his path would be different. The first hint was his older brother: while the eldest Newton was Warwick's golden boy (straight A's, star athlete, volunteers in the food bank on his weekends-boy), and well, Adam could never escape his shadow. No matter what he did, he was always "the younger Newton" or "the brother". And of course the fact that his father made the distinction of the favorite child didn't help at all.
Adam wished for a large part of his childhood to be just like his brother. He tried, but time and again it was never enough. But in the blink of an eye things were different. Adam was in middle school, riding his bike in the path in the forest and he saw...
Well he saw something. The creature was definitely not a bear, like the rest of his family wanted him to say. It was a wolf. Or something wolf-like.
That was when Adam began to pay attention to the whispers, to the rumors. If nobody in his family would believe him, he would find someone who would. He escaped his house as soon as he could, found an internship at the paper with pitiful pay, and has a small apartment in town. He's a friendly guy, a bit too dense when it comes to girls, but a hardworking and goodhearted young man. More than disgusted, he's fascinated with the supernatural, all that magic and wonder hidden in plain sight would be quite the story. And he's willing to do anything to bring the truth to light.

It was her fault, really, for signing up for AP chem. She was still very unsure of what degree she wanted to get after high school (if any) and her counselor suggested trying out some harder sciences after doing alright in previous years.
But Lena was not having chemistry. Which was funny, because she dealt with hormones and chemicals on an almost daily basis.
It was just so much easier to see and manipulate the effects of those chemicals than to study their basis and whatever the teacher was talking about now. Frankly, she hadn't been paying attention for a while, just looking around the classroom for some fun. She could always tell her desk neighbor about the juicy juicy gossip she had heard about her boyfriend on the girl's locker room, or see if the sleepy football player at the end of the row would be down for something. Choices, choices.

oke, thanks! and that happens a lot XDit gets REALLY bad during the summer, but rn it's actually cold! windy, nothing compared to what NY gets like I bet
