and I think probably a week would be a good idea, or at least until like the 8th or 9th, so then people do have time to at least get some stuff cleared for the ball.

Nah, you're okay :) i probably won't be active until like tomorrow night anyways, so you're fine :)

I think that's a really good idea tbh, and I think it'd be really helpful for some people. I think it'd be a good idea, if someone's cancelling collabs, for them to message the other person, or something like that. Or even if they just want to put the collab on hold, they could message them. No matter how we go about it, tho, I definitely think it's a good idea.

Cool air raced through Skye's dusty blue hair as she took off down the track. Despite the fact that it was nearly the end of the year and the weather was quite chilly, her gym class was still being held outside. "The snow isn't sticking yet so I think we'll be fine to run a couple laps on the track today," the instructor had reasoned, nodding his head to the grey sky up above.
Skye didn't really mind. Her arms were covered in her favorite blue and white tracksuit jacket, but her legs were nearly bare, covered only by a pair of running shorts. A couple years ago when she'd first started school at Warwick High, the other kids had stared, wondering how in the world she didn't freeze. "It doesn't really bother me," she had said, nervously laughing at the suspicious questions. "I guess running just keeps me warm." Nowadays, most of them just took her word for it.
Heavy puffs of air floated up into the sky as Skye ran, passing them by within an instant. Her feet pounded against the turf with a fierce speed. Rounding the second curve, she slowed down at the starting mark, switching into a brief sprint. Most of the other kids had done the same, pacing themselves for another two laps.

The front door slammed shut and Haeun's gaze shifted to the front as a girl with bright hair and dark clothes walked in. The girl's eyes were fierce, obviously irate, and her eyebrows were furrowed. She took up a seat at a small booth in the corner of the restaurant, her anger apparent to anyone who looked her way. Perfect.
Standing up, Haeun tucked a piece of her black hair behind her ear and made her best attempt at a smile. She was a convincing actor. After all, despite her inherent aversion to interacting with people, she was willing to be conversational in the pursuit of food. Walking in the girl's direction, she waited for the waitress to head to the kitchen before she stood in front of the girl's table, ignoring the suspicious look the waitress gave her.
"Hi," Haeun started out, shoving one hand deep in her jacket pocket and holding the other out for the girl to shake. "I'm Haeun." She gave a bit of a sigh, feigning awkwardness. "I know this is random, but I was wondering if you knew where the nearest bus stop is. My friends and I went out for the night but..." She gave a small, uncomfortable laugh, "... they kind of left me here and I don't have a way to get home." Lying through her teeth had gotten easy at this point. 170 years of practice will do that.
