Unlike Lena, Hunter leaned back into his chair as if to appear like he wasn’t doing anything wrong. He didn’t want any trouble, and would have apologized to the teacher if Lena hadn’t opened her mouth. God, she’s something else. He thought to himself as he listened to her talk back to the teacher. This wouldn’t be her first time talking back to the teacher, nor the last, that he was sure of.
“You think this is funny, Miss. Murdock.” The teacher said, more of a statement than a question. She was right, he was pissed enough to kick them out, and more. “Is that so. Then I hope you still have enough to talk about outside of my class. So get out. You too, Hunter. I also hope you guys still have enough to talk about in detention tomorrow,” he said sarcastically.
Lenaaaa. What did you do? Hunter wanted to groan.

I’m seriously loving the outfit I chose for my character Elizabeth to wear. Its be something i would definitely want to hear, but not to a ball lol.![]()

Anyone want to Rp? I have my girls open and I was also hoping to find them dates to the ball.
Vee Sky, a kind but distant new vampire
Isabella Santiago, a sweet curious human
Elizabeth Asher, a stubborn sarcastic fire bender
Anna Remington, a shy but kind mermaid
Hannah Lee, a semi-antisocial girl that can read minds

Elizabeth didn’t know how this would go. She didn’t even want it to continue, both because it was making her lose control over her powers, and because of how shitty it was making her feel. Just listening to him guilt her about how fucked his life was just because he was doing everything he could for his family was enough to make her stomach twist both with guilt and anger because he was making her feel like this.
What he didn’t understand, and she couldn’t make him understand, was that she wasn’t really pissed at him for how life was unfair. She was pissed at the damn world for it, and not because her parents and brother weren’t home and they couldn’t really afford good things and she had to fight with her brothers everyday because that’s just how life became- well maybe half of it was- but because she wa angry that she changed and couldn’t go to anyone about it. Not your normal teenager changes, but fire erupting from her hands change. Her patience was shorter and temper was worse, and so she had to pull away in order to keep control and keep everyone safe. But she looked like a bratty bitch of a sister because of that, and she couldn’t explain why. She couldn’t tell him today that she forgot about Sam because she burned the tattoo shop down and was about to be bitten by a vampire at a diner, and that just made her more angry because she had to keep it all bottled up.
Her right leg was shaking anxiously as anger, pain, sadness, shame and loneliness swelled up in her chest, a habit she’s developed over the years. She gritted her teeth, trying to keep cool, even though she wanted to scream and cry at the moment, I’m fucken messed up and I don’t know what to do and I really need your help! But she couldn’t, not in front of Salem, and definitely not in front of her brother, because she didn’t want to look broken or burden him with her powers like she already was.
Hearing him sarcastically apologize and seeing tears in his eyes felt like a stab to her chest. She knew she messed up, but she didn’t mean to, and he didn’t understand that. He couldn’t understand it if she didn’t explain, and that made her angry. Watching him back away like that, she couldn’t help but lash out, wanting to hurt him like he was hurting her. “Then don’t take care us if you don’t want to! It’s not like your really our full brother .” With that, she went to grab her hoodie that was tossed on the floor and held her phone, and without even looking at her friend who was behind her, she just bolted out of her room and angrily shoved past Lorenzo to make her way out of the stairs and out of the front door.
Once the door shut after her, she felt the tears sting her eyes before running down her cheeks. She moved away from her house, to a place where she wouldn’t have to worry about not controlling her powers.

After having to go through an hour of hell, or as some people like to call it, studying calculus, Elizabeth was sprawled on her little bed in defeat. Pages of numbers and lines surrounded her and her friend, who she was sure was disappointed in her for wanting to give up. “I caaaant do this anymore. It’s so hard.” She particularly cried and buried her face in her blanket.
However, any tiredness and self-pity she had in her was gone the instant she heard her name called from downstairs. Her body went ridged and worry clenched her heart at the sound of Lorenzo’s angry voice. Just as her already loose door busted open, Elizabeth scrambled to push the top half of her body up. In cams her seething brother with Sam, who’s eyes were red and nose was running from crying, on his hip. Shit. Elizabeth thought as she remembered that her brother told her to pick up Sam from school and help him with his school homework. I’m dead.
Before she could say anything, Lorenzo was already yelling at her in front of Salem. I can’t believe he’s doing this now, she thought, embarrassed. As if this day couldn’t get any worse for her. She moved to push herself further up so she wouldn’t be laying down on the bed but standing before it to face her angry brother and hopefully hide him from her friends view, as if that would make her not notice the fight that was about to go down.
Hearing what Renny said to her in the end felt like a slap in the face. Her jaw clenched in anger and she stared at him with her pale blue eyes. “My new bullshit? What the fuck is that supposed to mean? And I got side tracked at the diner because of something and forgot. I didn’t mean to leave him at the school, okay! It was a fucken mistake, and it wasn’t like I went to party of some shit. I’m studying because I, too, have my own exams. You can’t expect so much from me. Besides, I didn’t ask to keep watch of the boys because mom and dad are out, and it’s not like your always looking after us. Your always out of the house, just like them,” she flung her hand to the door, as if to gesture to her parents who weren’t even home. She didn’t even bother to go into details about the diner, knowing that wouldn’t be the wisest thing, nor did she even bother bringing up the tattoo shop because that would only make matters worse. “I’m the one that watches over them at home, and I have my own shit to worry about, so stop thinking about yourself. If I had the choice, I would’ve moved out if this house by now but I’m not that much of a bitch.”
Elizabeth could feel her blood boil, literally. She felt warm, to the point where she wondered if her face was red. She was sure if someone would touch her, they would feel her burning up, and that was because the fire in her blood was just itching to get out and set anything and everything on fire, but she was doing everything in her power to hold it back.

Lucas actually just held her gaze as she glared at him, giving her his big charming smile the whole time. Hearing what she had to say, he couldn’t help but laugh. “Feisty. I like it. It suits you.” He tells her and tilts his head a bit as if to check her out. He moved his chair closer to her until he was able to rest his elbows on her desk so he could hold his head in his hands, this way he could be closer to her. “Well, my day has been alright. Kind of got hell from Mr. Steel about the English paper. But that doesn’t bother me.” He gave a half-hearted shrug as if it was nothing. “How are you doing without your books?” He grinned since they were still with him.

”I have nothing to do with this.” Amir starts, but Mrs. Steel was quick to cut him off, calling both him and Matteo to his office in an already angry tone. He watched him turn away, knowing damn well that the two would follow, or at least Amir would because god knew the other would probably not listen. With the teacher not looking, Matteo turned to him and flashed him a smirk. Amir’s jaw clenched angrily and he just glared at him as he followed. So fucken childish.
They were in Mrs. Steel’s classroom and were seated, the teacher was already talking. Amir leaned back in his chair, avoiding looking at Matteo until he lied through his teeth. He straightened up and when questioned, defensively said, “I did not. He’s a fucken lier.” Amir didn’t even care that he was cursing in front of the teacher. His blood was boiling from the guy sitting next to him. If it wasn’t for the fact that the teacher was here, he probably would have him pinned against the wall. “As he said, I just pulled him of Ronald.” He looked back to the adult before them.

I messed up. Oh god. Hannah could see the anger built up in the girl before her and could hear it through her gritted teeth. Even though it wasn’t physical, it was enough to wrap her up and make her disappear, because that’s what it seemed like the girl wanted. “I’m sorry. I really am.... i’ll get it cleaned for you. I didn’t see you.” Hannah was rambling, trying to make matters better. But Eva already tossed her coat into the trash can, which Hannah thought was a little too much. But that further proved how pissed the girl was.
Hannah didn’t know if she should clean up the mess at their feet, especially since there was broken glass, or get napkin, or continu to apologize. She was actually afraid to do any of them, because it seemed like no matter what she chose, the girl would only continue to be mad. “L-let me make it up to you,” Hannah tells her, glancing at her before looking to the showcase behind her that held a variety of pastries. “I’ll buy whatever it is you were going to get. I really am sorry.” She tells her yet again. This.... never happened...who I am! Pathetic... Snippets of the girl's thoughts boomed in Hannah’s head, but only one word stood out, which was the last one, and it really hit her because it was familiar name-calling. She just looked down and nervously played with the hem of her sleeves, feeling ashamed.

“I don’t care about a broken toilet or cold water, at least I’ll have access to a bathroom.” Elizabeth would have to wake up extra early just to be able to get to use the bathroom and get ready for school. If she didn’t, then she’d wait in line for it and when Anthony gets the bathroom, it’s going to be a long wait. Who would think that a ten-year-old would need thirty minutes to get ready for school?
When Salem brought up being a witch, she couldn’t help but think if it’s true or if she was joking. Because Elizabeth wasn’t exactly mundane herself. However, Salem didn’t look like she could be a witch, and she hadn’t seen any signs that her best friend could perform magic. So she was most likely making a joke out of it. She would tell her if she was one... right? But then again, Elizabeth didn’t tell her about herself. Yup, it was definitely a lie.
Deciding to ignore all that, and just laughing at what she said about the boys in her school, Elizabeth decided that they should start studying, which they did. She focused on calculus and only calculus, well, as best as she could. Lizzy was still having a hard to following what Salem was explaining. She forgot about her shitty day at the tattoo shop, the scary incident at the dinner, her brother Sam, and Rennys warnings for that hour.

Anna flopped onto the grass and pulled herself away from the water. She didn’t hear M swim away to get out of the water too. She didn’t even bother glancing behind her, thinking the girl wouldn’t even want that. After taking a moment to dry up a bit and transformed back, which she enjoyed the least from being a mermaid because it was a bit boring, Anna was finally standing on her two feet again. Of course, naked.
She walked over to her bag that she stashed behind a bush and started to change into the clothings she had hidden. Once she was dressed, she started to make her way away from the waterfall. She kept thinking about the girl, wondering if it could have went differently had she been in her human form. Hearing words, Anna looked up to see M at her car. She found her already in her human form too, and she was wearing a familiar uniform that Anna has seen before, and on it was her name tag. Melody. She thought she saw. But she knew she shouldn’t stay too longed because the girl looked panicked. “I hope we see each other again,” she tells her before walking away to head home.

Hannah was already in line, waiting for the slice of chocolate mousse cake that she ordered- not your ideal breakfast but who cares. For Hannah, the order was a regular. She would come here when she needs to get away and relax, and this place, with that chocolate cake, was definitely that place. It reminded her that not everything was bad in life, and so she tended to come here a lot because she needed that reminder a lot, sadly.
Along with that, she was doing her best to ignore the bombardment of thoughts around her. With her powers that she still had little control of, Hannah got the pleasure- as if- of hearing what people were thinking about. Well, some of the stuff. Since it was still all new to her, and she didn’t know how to use it, she got snippets of people’s thoughts, or didn’t get any thoughts at all at moments. So now, she could partly hear what the baker was measuring in the back, what the couple were thinking about each other in the corner, and what someone not far behind was thinking about a bagel. At least, that’s what she figured from what she could hear.
After thanking the worker and taking her plate and a fork, Hannah turned around a little too quickly because she was excited to delve into the deliciousness of this chocolate cake in her hands. Because of that, she didn’t notice the blonde haired girl standing right behind her, and by the time she did, Hannah had bumped into her and accidentally shoved her dessert on her blush colored Jacket. Shit.Shit.Shit.Shit. Hannah stepped back only to have the plate fall and shatter on the floor. “Oh my god. I’m so sorry! I-I didn’t mean to. I’m sorry.” She began as she looked up to the girl.
