ISABELLA:
Ur scaring me a little. I’m just glad ur okay. U know ur my amigo and I can talk to me anytime. Right?

It felt good to be clean once again. Any sign of blood on her hands and face were gone, making her not appear like the monster she was. Plus it got rid of the metallic smell of the blood that had been encouraging her to drink more . However there were still a few spots of it splotched on her shirt, a little reminder that she will always be that monster. She knew she had to be more careful whenever she fed. She had to prepare an extra change of shirt and whips, because god knows where she’ll end up the next time and if she would have any water near her, as scary as that sounded. She could, however, simply change how she fed, but that would be like asking a lion to eat a salad.
Finally, after leaving the forest, the two made their way into town. All the while, Vee was thinking of all the things she wanted to ask. One question lead to another in her mind, but she forced herself to wait until they were properly seated. Upon walking up to the coffee shop, Vee couldn’t help have a look of confusion cross her face. Why here? She wondered. It wasn’t like they could eat. She just assumed it was to seem casual as they spoke about something that wasn’t casual.
After going in and taking a seat next to the window, Vee couldn’t help but have her eyes wonder around the shop. The last time she came to the Coffe House was with Norman, and thinking about him brought an empty feeling to her chest. Ever since he died, she never had a reason to come here afterwards. Her gaze rested on her hands afterwards, looking lost and far. I really miss you Norman, Vee thought to herself as if he could hear her.
Hearing Casper speak brought her back to reality. “Huh?” She said and looked up, then realized what he had asked her, reminding her why they were here. “Oh.. ugh.. yes.” She finally spoke as she brushed her short hair out of her face. She then crossed her arms on the table and leaned on it in an attempt to cover the small spots of blood from prying eyes. “It’s been four months since I officially found out about what I am.” She tells him a softly because talking about it hurt a bit.

Also, I’m looking for someone to make a stuck up girl that uses my boy Amir for his money and popularity by being his girlfriend but doesn’t really love him, and he only stays With her cuz he doesn’t want anyone to know he’s gay. She wouldn’t know too.

Amir wondered if Mr. Steel would believe him. It was clear that Matteo would push a shitty lie like that from his ass. But it seemed like the teacher wasn’t having that. He wasn’t having any of this stuff, which only really effected Amir here. When the English teacher offered up his way of resolving this, Amir was ready to shoot the idea down.
“That’s not fair. I can’t have detention. Coach won’t let me play the next game if I have a week of detention, and besides! I didn’t do shit. Why the hell am I getting punished for stoping a fight? I shouldn’t even be here, and your crazy if you think I’m going to help peanut brain here pass English class. Even I can’t help him.” He looked to Matteo with a look of disgust. The last thing he wanted was to be stuck with him.

Vee’s eyes widened at the given number. Five years? Five years? The amount both awed her and scared her. She was curious to know how time has passed for him. What changed for him. If anything went back to normal. How he fed himself. What he did for a living. There were so many things she wanted to know. But she was also scared because finding someone who’s been like that for five years made her realize this wasn’t just a dream, but reality.
Because silly Vee still thought this was all fake and that Norman would somehow come back to her one day.
When he assures her that the whole ordeal wasn’t in any embarrassing, but normal, she was able to feel better. It must have taken him a while to feel normal with something like this because she was still struggling to grasp that concept. In fact, she wasn’t even sure she wanted this to feel normal. All the killing. The blood. The loss. She didn’t think she could handle it for much longer really.
“Ugh.. yeah. Yeah, of course.” She said with a nod of her head. She wanted to get away from here and this horrible scene, and she wanted to wash away the intoxicating blood. The longer she smelt it, the more she craved it, even if she had already satisfied her thirst, and that made her hate herself even more. Not to mention she was sure she looked horrid with blood on her. “There’s a waterfall nearby, I can wash up there and then maybe we could go somewhere to talk.” She suggested, not sure if that would be okay with him first.
