I tend to read and post my reviews quickly. Please don't think you are obligated to read as fast. Some people like to read quickly, and others like to take their time. As long as you are within the deadlines, you're fine.

Denis, on the first page of this thread, all the links I see for your book are to pages on goodreads.

Mary: Marcel, S. Lynn, Kim, and Henryan will be reviewing you. Also, look at message 1. In the line up there, you'll see the people below you whom you should review, and the people above you who will review you. And as Leam mentioned, message 101 gives us a list of the people we review and the people reviewing us.

Hi, Laura. Here again is a look at the qualifications for “Clean”

“No explicit violence or explicit sexual situations. If you have to wonder if an aspect of your book could be considered offensive, this is probably not the group for you!”
If your book doesn’t have explicit violence or explicit sexual scenes it fits the qualifications of this round. And there’s no reason you couldn’t join provided you can fit. But keeping in mind the second part of that paragraph, I can understand your hesitation if your book has scenes that may be considered offensive, and you worry some readers might rate your book more poorly because they expect something that doesn’t have offensive material at all.


If you want to join, and EM can fit you in, and your book fits the basic qualifications, there shouldn’t be any reason you couldn’t join if you still want to.

But you do need to change your personal settings so that you can message other members of the round. Right now, you’re not set to be able to message other people.

It looks like Laura has reviewed Mary and Denis.

I think those are the only other conflicts for Laura. If Mary is moved to spot 8, Laura put in spot 3 and Denis, Leam, Henryan, and Kim moved down one spot, could that work?

Hello, Kim! EM is the one who will work out the list, but if you’re brand new, you shouldn’t have any conflicts. Just to be sure, have you been reviewed by or have you reviewed anyone on the list at the bottom of message 1?

I have reviewed Sadhana before and Sadhana has reviewed Denis. I believe that Sadhana could fit in spot 2 or 3 with me above her and Denis below, then with Denis, Leam, and Henryan moving down one spot.

Then scroll down to where it says "Who Can Send Me Private Messages" and click on "anyone".

That needs to be enabled so that you can send messages and receive messages from the people who will be reviewing you, and the people whom you will be reviewing.

A short way down the page, you will see "Who Can Send Me Private Messages:"

Make sure you click "anyone". Then you should be able to message people.

To message people, in this case, the people who will be reviewing you and whom you will be reviewing, go to the person's page. You can get there by clicking the name.
Beneath the picture, you will see a box that says "Follow Author". Beside that, is a little v shaped arrow.

Click on that.

Once you do, you will see a few options including "Add as a Friend" and "Compare books" as well as a few others.

If you are set to receive private messages, the second choice down the list should be "Send Message".

If you click on that, you should be able to send that person a message.
