You're right! That was a typo! In fact, I looked and found several typos. Sorry about that, everyone, especially Di and Scott. I messed up your names. I was trying to use the same template but replacing the names with the names of the last group I moderated, and some of the names didn't change. I should have checked that before posting.
It is fixed, now.

GUIDE FOR THOSE NEW TO THESE ROUNDS.

You are reviewing the four books below you on the list (the list wraps, so 1 is below 10). The four people above you are reviewing you.

While not required, you may choose to buy the books you are to review.

However, this is not a requirement, so you should PM the four people who will be reviewing you and the people you will be reviewing. Beside the 'Follow Author' button under their picture is V shaped button. Click that.
It opens a menu with "Send message" as one of the options. Click that.
It opens a page where you can message the other person.
For those sending you their books, let them know what format you prefer, (PDF etc.) Remember to include an email to which they can send their book.
For those to whom you'll be sending yours, ask them what format they prefer, and give them your email.

Please make sure you send your book to the 4 reviewing you as soon as possible. Unless a reader has told you that s/he will buy your book or read it through KU.

Some people read fast and it can be very frustrating to have to wait a long time to get hold of a book you are committed to review.

Let me know if people aren't returning your messages.

Please post your reviews to Goodreads and Amazon (whichever Amazon store you have access to in your country).

Amazon can sometimes take several days to post a review. That is normal.

Please remember the commitment you are making to your fellow group members. If you pull out after the start date for any reason it is the other members who will be faced with the problem of finding a replacement, or missing out on reads/reviews, through no fault of their own. Please don’t ask the moderators to chase after replacements as we just don’t have the time.

It is the responsibility of the author to get their book to their readers in a format the reviewer can manage. Everyone must be able to provide and accept PDF. You may buy or borrow the books you are due to read if you wish, and I’m sure the author will appreciate the verified review, but IT IS NOT COMPULSORY. There are no set dates for the start of each round. You can each work at your own pace, within the limits of the round deadlines.

All reviews must be posted to GR. We also encourage members to post on Amazon. When you have posted your reviews, please post the links to each of your reviews, not the book page in this thread.
The mod of each round will record whether members have posted reviews on Amazon and for the good of all, members who persistently fail to post reviews or DNF reviews to Amazon, will find mods less than willing to add them to subsequent groups.

Postings to other sites are by agreement by both author and reviewer.

If I’ve missed something that results in you being asked to review someone who has already reviewed you, please let me know asap.

To exchange book files, my advice is to use PM to give email addresses to each other (save the chance of spammers getting your addies from this open forum).

Setting up and modding these rounds is a labour of love, with a lot of emphasis on the ‘labour’. If you want to show appreciation for all the hard work we admins put in for the group, you could download one of our books as a ‘thank you’.

EVERYONE, I may have a list that just might work. Please check now, to see if you have ever reviewed any of the four people above you. The list wraps, so 10 is above 1. Also check to see if any of the four below you have ever reviewed you. You do not need to worry about the person five spots from you, as that person is in your blind spot.

To check whether a given author has reviewed someone else, go to that author's page. Under their picture, click on the middle link that shows how many reviews that person has done. That will take you to the books they've read. In the box that says "Search and add books" type in an author's name to see if the person whose page you're on has reviewed that person.

Once you have checked both above and below you, as long as you have not reviewed any of the four above you, and the four below you have not reviewed you, please come back here and says "Good to go", or something along those lines. Once all ten people have done so, we will be ready to begin.

Everyone, please read! This is important:

Di, It's one published book per reading round. However, there are regularly "Novella" rounds created that I hope you join in the future.

P.L., if you have just one clean book, and someone who would be reading you has already read it, you might consider contacting that person via pm and explaining your situation. If they're okay with reading an alternate book that doesn't fit the clean definition, then you can sign on offering you clean book to the rest, but with that person reading an alternate book. Otherwise, it wouldn't be appropriate to sign up.

T.N., since you've reviewed Jenny and also Amanda, I'm afraid I won't be able to fit you. I'd have to put you into Jenny's blind spot, but Jenny has also reviewed Amanda before, which would mean that Amanda would have to review you which can't happen since you've reviewed her before. I'm sorry.

Kris, if you're not sure, you can check to see who has reviewed you and whom you have reviewed by taking a few steps.

To check to see the authors you've reviewed, go to your own profile. Under your picture, you'll see a couple of links.

Click the middle link that shows how many reviews you've given. When you get to the page that shows a list of the books you've reviewed, type each name of the authors currently on the list in the box that says "Search and add books". That will show if you've reviewed that author before.

To check and see if an author has added you, then go to each of the author's profiles, click on the middle link under each picture that shows how many reviews the author has given, and type your name into the box that says "Search and add books". That will show if that author has reviewed you before.

For now, I've added you to the list, since from what you said it looks like you can fit. But please check and see if any of the other authors have reviewed you or been reviewed by you, then post here and say if any of them have or haven't.

While I was unfortunately not able to make a place for Ann, I was able to put B.J., Amanda, and Di into the group.
