I'm going to go hide in the corner and sob as I have yet to read "Gone With the Wind."

I'm currently reading "Richard II" in my quest to finish the rest of the works of Shakespeare this month, along with Charlotte Bronte's "The Professor."

Hello David. That's a very Dystopian collection of authors you have there. I've only started reading Margaret Atwood's work somewhat recently, but she's amazing.

It doesn't seem right that it is February already, but the calendar says so, so we've got to move on. Here's the magical folder for this month's Classics Without All the Class choice, "Tess of the d'Urbervilles."
Also, before it is pointed out, I am aware that the title of the discussion folder does not conform to the usual folder title format, but the name of the book was too long to meet goodreads requirements in all of the possible derivations that both included the month and the year in addition to the title, so "Tess of the d'Urbervilles" had it's last three words hacked off in punishment.

Only one more week of voting.
Just a reminder to cast your vote if you haven't yet. The first and last place runners are seven apart as of posting this, so it could be down to one vote in the end.

This is the point where I must admit that I have never seen Girls and become an outcast from society.... Sorry. But welcome.

After two years of missing my "live-and-in-person" book club, this looks like a fun way to read together on a more flexible schedule. Naming one genre may be impossible, but I relax/..."Who need real life when you have the internet, anyway? Hi Molly. Welcome to CWAC.

If you are looking for suggested books to read there are plenty on our to read shelves and you can start a thread for recommendations from other members, or search for some similar previous threads. Welcome to Classics Without All the Class.

Currently I'm working on completing the works of Shakespeare, among a few others. Which people find odd, because I hate Shakespeare. I just like to be well versed on things when I insult them.

Am into scandin..."Hello Pete. Television counts as pop culture, yes. I was genuinely confused by the Hardy comment for a minute, before I remembered "Tess" is our book next month.
I must confess that I am not a Scandanavian crime expert, but I have read some of Henning Mankell's work, and if that is anything to judge by it must be quite good.
