Well, I did manage to finished Diary of the Gone
after all. It was a very quick read, it just sucked me into it. ★★★★My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

I got another one read:YA/Paranormal: Subversive
by Rebecca Royce ★★★★My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Carolyn wrote: "Nice list Lynxie! Looks like Behind the Wattles was your favourite!"Yep it is so far :) It just had a great mix of styles and genres. I'm a bit surprised how much I enjoyed it.
And given the latest spate of lack-lustre books I'm reading an author I know I'll enjoy right now - I've only read 20 of her books to date :D

For the moment I'll just put up my xmas themed read from the Summer challenge.
Skipping Christmas by John GrishamIf I come across any more while I'm reading in December I will add them as I go :)
Phrynne wrote: "To me a challenge is a target you set yourself and if you don't achieve it you just try again next time. And what fun we all have trying:)"I agree with Phrynne, I sometimes don't quite get through the challenges I set. Sometimes I do, but it's always about the joy of reading and trying new genres and authors :)

There's just something a bit special when you're the first of your group of friends who's read the book and loved it, then suggested people read it and they love it too. Or being ahead of the masses (I've been the first to review a lot of the books I read!) it's really neat!

Some are pretty rubbish, but there's always a hidden gem in there to find too :)
