That's really interesting Nicola. Do you read a lot of fantasy? I wonder if it has to do with previous reading in the genre as much as tastes?

I'll be interested to see if you agree Rita. I went in hoping for awesome, and I hadn't read anything else by Melina, but really, not impressed.

Sarah wrote: "Is there an easy way to tell where something was published?"Sarah, can I ask why you want to know where a book is published?
If it's for the purpose of this challenge, international vs australian books, it normally comes down to where the Author is from, not so much where the book was published.
As Mary has mentioned, the bigger authors often have multiple publishers represent them across the globe.

I think it could be the larger TBR list ;)

I'm in with:

I should get through at least two of these, hopefully all of them.
Laura wrote: "Wow even owning 70% of that 1.4k is impressive :O!!"It is quite easy when you raid the freebies on kindle Laura :) It's also a bit of an addiction. hehe
Control... What is this word you speak of? ;)Mine's under 1400 at the moment. Yay! And yes, I own probably more than 70% of them... I love my kindle!
If anyone is looking for an international short YA story, Tony Talbot has a number of them available. I've read most of his books, but would recommend:Medusa
, American Girl
, Over the Mountain
or Eight Mile Island
His books are all well written and quite different.
So this is what my list currently looks like:
3. Books of the rainbow

3b. Orange: Saving Grace

3d. Green: The Kings Ward

4. YA by an Aussie: Finnikin of the Rock
5. National Wattle Day:Behind the Wattles
- FBI agent8. Friend TBR: Bleeds My Desire
Friend and author: Nenia Campbell

My latest one being Secrets in Time.

Markus Zusak was actually a mentor for the Qantas SOYA competition for young Aussie writers in 2012 I believe. Very awesome! :D
