That's really interesting Nicola. Do you read a lot of fantasy? I wonder if it has to do with previous reading in the genre as much as tastes?

I'll be interested to see if you agree Rita. I went in hoping for awesome, and I hadn't read anything else by Melina, but really, not impressed.

Sarah, can I ask why you want to know where a book is published?

If it's for the purpose of this challenge, international vs australian books, it normally comes down to where the Author is from, not so much where the book was published.

As Mary has mentioned, the bigger authors often have multiple publishers represent them across the globe.

I think it could be the larger TBR list ;)
721 Brenda wrote: "Excellent Melissa:) I fall in exactly the same boat as you!"

I am also the same, but I put them up here too - if I get through them in October, I'll replace them with something else :)
721 I'm in with:

Outback romance: Saving GraceSaving Grace by Fiona McCallum

Paranormal romance: Black BeastBlack Beast (Shadow Thane, #1) by Nenia Campbell

Mixed genre microfiction: Behind the WattlesBehind the Wattles by David Vernon

Contemporary romance: Puppy Love Puppy Love by Ana Vincent

I should get through at least two of these, hopefully all of them.

It is quite easy when you raid the freebies on kindle Laura :) It's also a bit of an addiction. hehe
721 Mine isn't the biggest by a long way... But, it is a losing battle, I just keep adding :)
721 Control... What is this word you speak of? ;)

Mine's under 1400 at the moment. Yay! And yes, I own probably more than 70% of them... I love my kindle!

721 If anyone is looking for an international short YA story, Tony Talbot has a number of them available. I've read most of his books, but would recommend:

Medusa Medusa by Tony Talbot , American Girl American Girl by Tony Talbot , Over the Mountain Over the Mountain by Tony Talbot or Eight Mile Island Eight Mile Island by Tony Talbot

His books are all well written and quite different.

Yes, yes they are... The premise sounded awesome. I would have to say that's probably some of the worst writing I've come across in all my reading. Not the worst, but it ranks right up there.

Markus Zusak was actually a mentor for the Qantas SOYA competition for young Aussie writers in 2012 I believe. Very awesome! :D
