I think books (ebook and the old school paper backs or hardcovers) are like air to me. If I had to curb my buying, and subsequently my reading, I think I would die!Is there such a thing a book buyers and readers anonymous?! If so, I think I need to join!
I thought we'd already established that... when comparing the TBR shelves... hehe *wink*Just got my first 'First Reads' book today :D yay! Another one to add to the masses!
I trawlled the $0.00 amazon books in the fantasy section yesterday... Approx 90 purchased... One cost me $0.99 oh the spending spree!! Haha that's about 1cent each! If you want to know what they all were, check out the last 90 I added to my TBR shelf!
Certainly is fantastic for travel. I am off to Africa soon, so that 20+ hr flight will hopefully make a bit of a dent in my TBR shelf!!
Well I have had a kindle for 2 years I think... I got it for Xmas in 2009. Haven't put it down yet. Hubby says its the best and worst present he gas bought me. He loves that I love it , but he said at times he feels like he's got a bit of a ghost for a wife... Always off in some far off fantasy land!

LOL (I only got my Kindle for Chr..."Trust me Brenda, it only gets worse the more you read! Currently have over 900 $2 or less kindle books on mine!! Scary!!
Ok so it sounds like I am the worst at keeping my TBR shelf under control! It's currently hovering around the 1200 mark! 0_oI just keep thinking of it in years... Approx 12 yrs reading there!
It certainly does have a mind of its own though!!
Hi All, I am from Canberra.Returning to writing after quite a bit of a break, never gave up reading though! Currently I have my 2012 reading goal of 110 books this year.
I'm also from Canberra... haven't looked into a book club tho, I don't like the idea of sticking to stuff other people want to read... I'm happy picking my own books and going from there.
