Anyone else get a little joy when they see a book they have read via Netgalley in the shops? Shopping at Big W last night for my son and saw both The Woman Who Knew Too Little and Gemini Falls. I was a little excited!

Thanks, looks great! I was hoping i could use it for the A-Z challenge as an Aussie author, but I've already filled F with Family Baggage :P
I read this one as an ARC, only 3 stars for me. Review here:https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Thanks!

Given I read this book earlier in the year I figured I may as well post my review. This one was only average for me.My review is here:

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Karren wrote: US Amazon cancelled my account, made me change to having an Australian one and can I asked how you still have two accounts?."
Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't be promoting that fact. My US account has a different email and is set up with a US address, so maybe that's it...not really sure....I hope they don't cancel it - that's my main one!
Hi all, I'm new here. I just stumbled upon this group today. I'm currently reading Unforgiven by Sarah Barrie, as I have an ARC from Netgally for Retribution so thought I should read book 1 first. I went to read some of the reviews for Unforgiven and saw the post down the bottom 'October 2022 - first thoughts' - no spoilers - Unforgiven'. So clicked on that - and here I am! I see your November books are The Unusual Abduction of Avery Conifer and Lily Harford's Last Request - both of which I have read already (sourced from Netgally)....so I figured this might be my kind of group.
So I'm Bec from Adelaide. I love reading, all genres pretty much except for horror and non-fiction aren't really my thing. I have 2 kindles - one has a US amazon account and one Aussie - so I get the best of both worlds. I'm really enjoying reading books set in Australia - just adds something when you know the area. Can't wait to chat with you all.
Finished!!1). Geographical Setting: Read a book set in a different country than your own.
2). Travel to a Different Genre: Read a book from a genre you haven't explored before/for a long time.
3). Cover Hunt: Read a book with a picture of a mode of transport on the cover.
4). Title: Read a book with a PLACE NAME in the title, such as the name of a country, state, city, town, etc. Titles with words like ‘woods’, ‘beach’, ‘mountain’, ‘river’, ‘garden’, ‘park’, etc, in the title would count as places too.
5).Reader’s Choice: Read any book of your choice.
5/5 completed

I'm getting concerned about whether I will finish or not...I've still got about 3 hours left in my last book (The Shining) and only 3 days to do it! Given I normally only read to and from work (15-20 minutes each way) I'm going to have to find some extra time to squeeze the reading in!
I've finished my 4th book - book with transport on the cover. I read
with a motorbike on the front.4 stars!
I've decided to sub in The Shining for book from a different genre. Again for horror. I don't think I've read Stephen King before, I may have but if I have it was a long time ago. But I'm currently reading Duke as my book with transport on the cover (motorbike).
