I just don't think I'm good at having to read at a certain time. And I have plenty of other challenges to keep up with.
Claire wrote: "I'm pulling out of this one - it's too hard for me. I won't delete so I don't mess up threads. If you can cross me out at the top though - thank you."I'm actually thinking the same. I'm getting stressed about having to read a book starting with J in January, when I have other books I want/need to read.
I was just approved for The Mademoiselle Alliance today also. I keep requesting and now have 7 for March...which is probably too many for me. I need to stop requesting for a while, but so many good books coming out!
Welcome to the Negalley journey Meg. It can be quite addictive!Tip for new players (and I'm sure you are across this), don't request too much at once as you try and get your percentage up. Also check 'read now' books as if you can read and review them they will help with your percentage also.
I can't help with your technical issue as I'm a kindle reader, but good luck.

I couldn't work my favourite genre as I like lots of different ones, but according to my goodreads 'Your Year in Books' for 2024, my top are romance, thriller and fiction. So I'll go with one of these!
I'm in for this one. I'll sort out the books later3 x Male Authors
3 x Female Authors
3 x 2025 New Release

Thank you to all the moderators for making this a great group! I love the recommendations for the Australian authors and the great challenges! I hope everyone has a great Christmas and manages to stay cool!
Oops I totally missed this one! Was doing a readathon for another challenge so did read a bit on the weekend so a bit of a shame. Oh well, I'll need to set a reminder for myself for next time.

Is up for request"
thank you! I'm in Rachael John's FB bookclub and have been waiting for this one. Fingers crossed I can get an ARC. I loved The Other Bridget - the first book.
I'm so trying to stay away from this thread as I keep requesting and reading and not getting to any of the other thousands of books on my kindles! But I see that Leonie Kelsall is South Australian so how can I not request her book!
