Thank you, Amara. Please be patient with me as I am a work in progress when it comes to technology. I may be sending more than a few messages your way asking my "how to" questions.

Hi everyone, I'm a Texan girl born in Dallas but raised in good ol' California. I currently live in the central California about an hour's drive from Sacramento.

I have five grown children (3 daughters and 2 sons) and 19 grandchildren, 10 boys and 9 girls. I think they are all finished adding to their families except for one of my daughters and her hubby who are still considering having their 5th child.

I have taught English since 1992 to freshmen in high school, yearbook since 1996, and I taught four years of multicultural literature to seniors the past four years.

I am SO in love with this site and a chance to discuss books with book lovers just for the fun of it. How will I ever go back to reading freshman "essays" in just three short weeks? LOL

I love reading, music, camping and fishing, musicals, movies, dancing, and did I say reading?

Glad to be in this group and praying that I can contribute something worthwhile every so often!
