I am currently reading

for this month's theme book.

I will be reading this one for the Teenage Protagonist book:

Yes I did see Wicked-- another great show!!"I saw it twice! I absolutely loved it! How about Lion King, Mama Mia, Fiddler on the Roof, Phantom of the Opera, Menopause, and others?

Donna, thanks. :)

I have decided to read the following:
and
.
Then I must read a classic, so I am going to read
but it's in a book called
It has numerous books by Jane Austen, Emily Bronte, and others.
School starts for me on Monday, August 6, so not sure how much tine I'll have to read in the next 9 months or so other than "essays" but I'll do my best to read what I want!

Deshanta, I live in California, USA.

Hi Deshanta, how exciting to be from Johannesburg! Do you still live there?
I want to get into autobiographies more. but so many bore me. :o(

Oh, yeah! Good idea Sara! I can start the year with Romeo and Juliet instead of with it (I have freshmen). Then I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone! LOL
But I know that one like the back of my hand. I am just SO sad to go back to school and have little time for my own personal reading. You know what I mean? :o(

Thanks, Michaela. I just want to read EVERYTHING! LOL
Dana wrote: "I think Pride and Prejudice is as good a place to start as any when it comes to Jane Austen.
Some of my personal favorites (besides P&P) are Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion.
But really I lo..."Thanks, Dana. I am also looking into a couple books set in England and potentially for my students to read, if they are low level/high interest books. My daughter teaches Read 180, so she's always looking. Have you read or heard of these books?

I purchased this awesome book for my NOOK for only .99! It has many books set in England. I think I'll start with Pride and Prejudice, but if anyone is well read in Jane Austen, would you please look at the stories in this book and tell me if there might be a better one with which to start...I'd much appreciate. Thanks!

I loved Mama Mia! Did you see Wicked?
Jennifer wrote: "Hi Vicki! I'm from the Bronx.. glad you got to some great places here! I never saw Phantom of the Opera. The last show I saw was The Lion King-- it was very good."I'm in central California, and I saw the Lion King in Sacramento. :o) I was overcome with emotion when I saw the Phantom on Broadway...cried right after sitting down BEFORE the musical began! LOL

Hi Jenny! Good to have you. What part of New York? I got to go to New York City and I went to the Majestic on Broadway and saw Phantom of the Opera, plus I got to go out on the boat and see the Statue of Liberty...SO awesome!!

Hi Autumn, nice to meet you. :o) I am anything but a history buff!
