(view spoiler)[​rene is a contradictive person. He is a very closed in person who doesn’t seem to stray from his usual habits and what he is confident in. This is incorrect however, he is immensely curious about everything and fascinating with specific things enough to become obsessively fixated on it until he figures it all out. He is just socially awkward and doesn’t know how to interact with people (lost in his own world) which can throw many people off. He acts a tad coldly towards a lot of people and things but he is actually rather sensitive and observant. Rene just doesn’t know how to properly socialize with people due to his inexperience. As soon as you’re able to break through that barrier, he is a caring guy that will want to help them out any way that he can. He is just very shy and rather stick his nose in a book or focus on his work.
Rene is a child prodigy, despite his hearing loss. He consists of a vast intelligence that absorbs any information he comes across. Though he can be ignorant in certain topics, this is especially true in the art of dealing with people. Because of this, he tends to only talk when neccesary. He is notorious for not being very blunt and honest, and has trouble getting to the point. However, he is able to reflect and observe people (when he isn’t absorbed by his work thus ignoring everything) and is able to tell if the people close to him are feeling something. He just doesn’t know how to deal or react to it.
Rene is obsessed with arance symbols and rituals. He loves learning all that he can from the many tomes and exploring new ways to make theirend goals better and more efficient.
Rene, his seemingly antisocial behavior and cold exterior, despite, he isn’t an aggressive person. He isn’t hostile and rarely gets angry, only confused or irritated. He is rather docile and a complete pacifist. He couldn’t fight to save his life, not even verbally (well not on purpose anyway). Thus, he feels incredibly guilty about a lot and tends to worry. Rene was sent to the school because his parents, neither of whom were sparked, thought it was the best place for him to be, so that maybe he could find friends and live a happier life. Nothing of huge importance had happened before then, except him learning of the institute and Rene realizing that he was dragon. ​Creedance Vanderland is well known for being more of a pet, a cat to be more precise, than a student at the Institute. Creedance was never the energetic or expressive person. He is rather bland, dull, blank expressions and usually just looks sleepy. He doesn’t have much ambition and it’s a task to get him to do anything he doesn’t want to do (especially if it involved a lot of work to do). Despite, he’s surprisingly blunt and direct, unafraid to voice his opinions or what is on his mind. Though, there isn’t much he is thinking about-besides the best ways to be lazy. He isn’t the most intelligent person (though he isn’t an idiot), he just doesn’t put any effort into learning and he can’t see possible cause and effects- getting the big picture. Due to this, he is rather naïve and vulnerable. It’s easy to convince him to do something as soon as you know what makes him tick. Which is sleeping, eating and quiet peace. Bribe him with something and it’s likely he’ll attempt to accomplish what you want him to (it will be done slowly and poorly however). He is a very vulnerable person. He trusts way too easily and will generally go with the flow. He requires a lot of affection, however, he doesn’t have any self-awareness and no urge to protect himself from other people. He has other goals in mind. Due to this, he constantly needs to be watched and looked after. Otherwise, he could very well be kidnapped (with an offer of candy no less) or killed just because of his lack of preservation. He’s always been carefree, a reckless abandonment of worries or cares.
Speaking of which, he is generally indifferent to everything and everyone and doesn’t care an ounce about reality or gossip. Instead, he’s rather be sleeping somewhere-anywhere and will sleep everywhere he is able. He loves to sleep or just to laze around and relax. If he doesn’t need to do it, he won’t. However, the only effort he ever puts into anything-is the effort to be as lazy and learning magic to allow him to be that lazy. Creedance adores spells of any kind that make his life easier. His parents sent him ti the school as a hope he would knock out of this stupor of laziness as he was like this his whole life, bit if anything, it has taight how to be lazy with ease. "Well I hope I recieve trouble, that way, I can get them back just as quickly like..." And rapidly the water snake appeared again in a flash and was right next to Colin, giving off a faint hiss before it went back into the pool, with Angelo laughing again at whatever reaction his giant friend would have. "Eh, but what brings you to the pool, maka? Did you want to go out or did you have something on your mind?" Angelo sure did have a few things on hus but he wouldnt bring it up until the time was right. He pushed back some of his wild black curls, wanting them out of his face, he really would look like a long haired dog then. "Lets go to the shop man, I am hungry after all that swimming." He grabbed his shirt nearby and a towel, motioning Colin to come aling as he headed out the door.

"Same 'ere man, My momma wants to hear all about how I am doing working at the big school and then she'll fill me up on fa’ausi. But I am ready just to enjoy not chlorinated water and feel good, brught sun in my back." Angelo was reminiscing a little, he did really miss home. But this was a good paying job with friends and an area he was use to. The man let out another chuckle at him jabbing him in the ribs. "Oh, yeah, but it is all in giod fun. Just raising the mext generation of us idiots. I mean, I already told some about our best ones we did, and they were excited to try their own."

Angelo was laughing his ass off when he began to hunch up due to a small stream of water coming up to him. "Oh..hehe..ya big baby! Its just a bit of water.." He laughed some more before calming down and listening to what his friend had to say. Angelo knew of Colin's odd fear of water, he use it to mess with his fellow teacher. Though he would never purposfully hurt him in any way, this was the guy Angelo went to talk to about his problems and would get a hug ir his friend to go get absolutely fucking hammered with. "All the time, espically the other water manipulators such as myself. I lile to give them lessons on it and it is suuper bittersweet when the use it on me." Angelo smiled amd laid a somewhat wet hand on Colin's shoulder. "You can make it my man, its like what? 3 months till weeks vacation than back to beaches, beers, and babes. It will be wonderful."

"Nah, because if they give me trouble, this is what happens." He then waves his hands a little and a small line if water began to move towards Colin like a snake would until it got towards his foot and then it simple turned back to normal water. "Except it would go up there leg and send them runnin' to the hills." He chuckled and stood up, shaking like a ling haired dog would to remove the water on them and than sat down to his giant friend. "Hey, two peolpe aint that bad maka, maybe if you ripped your pants a bit more, you could convince a coulpe more?" Angelo was always happy to help Colin pull off some awful prank, espically if it is towards other teachers, a number of whom taught the both of them. "Remember when we let loose the rattle snake in arcane history? The teacher was screamin' like a two year old.." Another deep chuckle came out and he sighed, already enjoying his friend's company. "Did you manage to get them away and out of your classroom? I hate mages the most, maka. They are always the entiltled brats of this school."

"See? No, hear? Oh yeah, maka." Maka was the little nickname he gave to everyone he was friendly with, it was a sort of islander word for friend. Angelo alqays had the problem of switching between normal English and pidgin. "How are you today? Ya seem less den please." He began ti float over to the edge of the pool then quickly sat up on the concrete edge. He was wearing just some old cargo shorts today, nothing too fancy for swimtrunks. "None of the fools gave you any trouble did they? I could make em piss themselves if you want me to." Angelo gave a devlish grin and patted next to him. "Have a seat, braddah, lets talk."

Angelo was sitting. Though he was sitting at thr bottom of the pool in the deep end. He still could be visible by those who knew where he like to hide to reflect on the day and do some relaxing. Thos was his true home, the water. Though he enjoyed sea water better, the pool in whoch he taught in worked. Though his thinkong about how mesmerizing the ripple of deep end wayer were intterupted by a thud and warpled noise of a familar giant. Now Angelo, or Baby to his friends, was no small fella, but compared to Colin he was a mouse. So he stood up in the liquid and began to simple float up on his back so he would look like he was chilling there the whole time.

He enjoys a good party from time to time, though he can be very serious from time to time when it comes to working on his pieces of art, but he never likes to be. Angie is woodworker and loves working with his hands and being outdoors. He just enjoys being relaxed, and when Angelo is working, he is hella chill. He is very flirtatious and a hopless romantic, he just likes to pair up students and faculty alike in his head. He takes his job at the school not all that seriously, usually letting the kids do whatever. He just wants to be there so no one drowns. A lot of the students like him a lot, some due to his natural attractionand others because he is a cool dude and wants to hear about their lives.

​Angelo was born an island hopper, his family never staying one place for very long on their decent sized house boat. It was him, his sister, parents and grandmother which whom Baby was closest with. She told him stories about great warriors who were helped by genies; magic peolpe who could do amazing feats of magic and sometimes even cast wishes. He didnt know but Angelo was one of these creatures and his spark simply needed to be ignited. They would travel around, mostly in Hawaii and other nearby islands and were homeschooled to make it eaiser. At age 11 was the day that spark was ignited, they were in deeper waters and Angelo had fallen out of the boat, and he prayed to whatever god there was to save him and the waters obeyed his prayer and lifted him up and back into the boat. Angelo was ecstatic, he was a genie just like Ma-Ma said! He ran whooping and screaming to her and she sat the boy down to explain that their whole family were marids, genies of water. She told the boy he would have to use her powers only for goodness, any evil that got in would tempt and corrupt his heart. So he tried to be good, for like a year, then they stoped moving around for awhile on the largest Hawaiian island and he met girls and boys in there full splendor. Angelo learned another power of his was that peolpe loved to be around him, but that was less a power and more his magnetic personality. Eventually Angelo's parents decided to send him to master his powers and was sent to the Institute. He went through the school pretty easily, and was part of the swimming program for most of it. He loved it So much when the old coach retired he was the first to apply and was accept, now it has been about a year if him being the coach and he loves it, though he always smells a bit like chlorine.
