June laughed when her father spoke about his job. She knew that he proably didnt work with tigers, but since she had nothing else to go on, the girl usually just beileved what Nikos said, so June honestly thouhht thats just what he did. Plenty of the drawings that she drew shpuld the demon in his wild adventures she forced him to talk about while they laid in bed. It was by far, her favorite part of the day when he was around. Hearing the sizzle of burger made June's stomach growl and her face to lit up a cherry red color in embarrassment. "Sorry..guess I am hungry.." She awkwardly laughed and watched the burgers from her chair, of course not sitting on it but kneeling so to get a better of everything and also watched him prepare the buns. "Was Lenny there today?" She had named a particularly kind tiger that Nikos told a story about Lenny and asked everytime he said she was tiger taming if he was there. Nikos should count his stars for June's wild imagination, it was the only way his lies got past her, that and her extreme love for her papa.

"I know, Papa." She shook her head and got to work with it all, moving at her incredible speed and soon had it set up for him to cook. She also moved her chair next to the pan where he would cook so that she would be able to get a better view of him and the food. "School is fun..though peolpe are getting kind of scared. They say there are bad peolpe trying to kill the school, but why would they do that? Its not a very nice thing to do." Oh young, naive, June. Not knowing her father was a part of the same organzation she was talking about but the bad thoughts qyickly passed through her scateerbrain. "But! We also got to lots of magic and my teacher even made a kid fly today! It was really, really fun." She then would blabber on about school for awhile as Nikos got things set up. "How was work, Papa?"

She gave a little cheer as she quickly jogged up to Nikos and walked beside him to the cluttered kitchen, mostly wood and had the scent of cherries always. "We have fresh stuff, I think. You went shopping last time you were home..which was two days ago." She huffed at that part, not liking it when he was gone for more than a day, but underdtood why he did have too. June climbed up onto the chair, she was just a small little thing after all and stood on her knees. "I want to have lots and lots of cheese on mine." She exclaimed. She ate her burgers nearly raw anyways, it was a good way for her to get her blood intake in without realizing that she was a vampire. June just thought she was a strange little girl with a much stranger Papa.

"Uh.." She kind of blinked and scratched her head, trying to remember if she actually did eat today or not. She had picked up on lots of Nikos' tendencies, and that was unfortunately was one of them. "No, but I did eat yesterday." Her stomach suddenly growled and she laughed a little. That sort of proved she was hungry. "I think I want some food. Can you make burgers? Pleeaassee!" She put her arms behind her back, setting the umbrella on the floor and twisted her body a little. That little move was proof that she knew how to get what she wanted if she wanted something badly. She didn't use it often, but only enough where it kept its effectiveness, as it is a 'dangerous' move. This little vampire girl can be a tactition if she needs to be. June would proably stick with the blanket, but if Papa and her go out to fancy places with all the peolpe he works with, she would use the umbrella as it os nicer.

"Huh?" June calmed down a little when Nikos spoke, taking the flower out of her scrapbook letting him mess with it. "No..when it gets old and smells bad I will put it back outside. But it is nice now, so Ill keep it. " She noticed something else in her hands and smiled a sweet, small smile compared to the grin she had plastered on earlier. "Is that for me?" She asked, slowly coming off the bed to get a better look at it. She was a terribly curious child, about everything, even stuff she shouldnt, so despite her innocence (somehow) still remaining intact, she knew quite a few things no normal 10 year old would. Her blanket began to slipp off her shoulders and she quickly picked it up, tying it around her neck expertly like a cape. June took the umbrella and fiddled with it until it was open. "Oooh. I could use this when my blanket is cleaning in the washer. Thank you Papa." She gave him another hug, glad to have him back. They were going to have so much fun this weekend!

Even deep within her sleep, the drawl of her father stirred her up and she slowly began to stretch and rub her eyes when June was suddenly lifted off the hammock! She moved the bpanket off her face to see Nikos, smiling like a fool, and it caused the little girl to break out in a grin. "Papa!! Your back!" She wrapped her arms around his neck and gave her a tight hug. She quickpy scrambled off of him though. "I found two really, really big dragonflies yesterday and..and I found this really pretty flower that smelled like vanilla.." She began to ramble about her adventures for the past two days, taking on his hands with both of hers and began tto drag him towards the house and then into their bedroom, the large bed now decorated with a sheet over it and a few of her toys. June ran over to a corner snd grabbed a little book she put all her finding in and scrambled onto the bed so she was mor eye level and opened it wide to show everything off. She just shined like a beacon and radiated happiness whenever Papa came home.

June had gotten off of school for the week, and the weekend laid before her to do whatever she wanted, which always revolved around going intot he woods and playing in the dirt, despite getting her bad suburns and becoming ill if she is out for too long. Papa had been gone for a few days now and June had to fend for herself, eating what they had in the fridge. He always left a small bit of money for her if she ever remembered to go into town and get dinner, but she was usually playing outside until the night, and then she was too tired and fell asleep in the bed they shared. It had been a few hourse since school ended and June decieded to take a nap in the hammock, her signature red blanket over all of her to protect her self from the sun, even though the hammock was im a shaded area and was snoring away like she always did, her small body spread over all of it and her small bookbag, red to match the blanket, was on a tree stump next to the setup.

Cricket listened to her, intrigued. "Fascinating. Well you might come in handy after all." He jested and stood up. "Well I am heading inisde deary if you care to join me?" Quickly buttoning up his shirt, he walked off, not giving her time to answer amd see if she jooned him or not. Thw princess seemed interested in him, Cricket didnt know how far that was but at least the bait was working, then he'd just have to snag her and then he would have his own mentor, someone to train in his craft and show her not to be a stuck up bitch all the time. But, for now, she would work with the Widow, no matter how much that woman hates him, or loves him from time to very rare time.

He took a seat but not without pulling out a chair for Mary and soon one of the twins brought out their drinls and whatever they order for lunch and Po Po ate. Mary seemed hapoy with everything, which made him gush a little with happiness. "They are really yummy. Old lady is very good at making candy." He took another bite of his sandwhich. "Is there stuff you wanna do? cuz I dont know anything else to do." He looked her in the eye, curious whay her answer would be

Po Po's face turned slightly red, then a much deeper one when one of the blonde twins said. "He has been here once or twice, he looovveess playing games with us. Though his small mind proably dosent remember. Do you, Beretta?" Po Po, or Beretta appearntly shook his head. "No, Monroe." He sighed and went to the old woman and got some homemade candy, avoiding all the reds ones, those were for another day and he handed her a piece of chocolate. "It is really good chocolate." And he popped one in his mouth. "We use a lot of it in our foods!" Chirped in the other twin, not Monroe.

Po Po walked along, trying to remember where the place with all the yummy food was. He had met a knew friend earlier today, Mary, and was going to show it to her as the large werewolf had learn, food makes everyone nicer to each other. But at long last he found it. The DaisyChain Cafe and Sweets. It was a small place that was warm and inviting, with what appeared to be twin girls working the cafe area and an elerdy woman who was near all the candy. "See I told you it was hear!" He waved to the girls who recognized him and squelled a little,, last time he was here, Po Po lesrned that Succubus love to play games and he had forgotten all about class. It had taken about a half hour to get to the building from the school but Po Po kept telling her it was worth it.

"Well, after I get shower. Gym is almost done. I dont wanna smell.." He got up, a big grin on his face with the prospect of a new friend and ran off to clean up his station and came back in 15 minutes, in fress longer gym shorts and a tshirt, a peculiar blue ballcap was also on his head, one that had a little bluebird on it. "Ok, Miss Mary. Let us go." He said, giving a nod. Lots of nods and smiles were hiw Po Po operated.

"Thank you." Po Po was taught to thank peolpe for his compliments so he did. He was taught a lot of things, its ehether he could remember them was the real challenge. "Ok. That is fine. We can go to..uh..there is really nice place to get sweets in the town, do you wanna go there?" It was just one idea he had, there were a lot of places in syracuse they could go or even a few places in the school. The big man was gerting uncomfortable the way he was sitting sk he moved down a seat and stopped being hunched over so he could sit up straight.

"Fair enough, dear. I just found it funny thats all." His laughter had comedown to a smirk as she called him a dickhead. "At your service." He stayed on the rocked but cleaned up his mess, keeping an to make sure she didnt burdt into flames, as some habe a bad reaction to the powder but she looked alright. It would have been fun to watch her be in pain though. "Have you gotten all your scouting in then? Seen the sights of the home of chaos?" He asked, sounding kind of like a brochure. "What all can that..sex magic, you called it? Do exacttly. I have looked into it myself, but found it harder to learn then most." What he didnt know was a lot of folks just had magic, Cricker had to learn all of his, through tomes and spellbooks. He had maybe a crooked deal more than once in his lifetime for knowledge in the darker arts

God Damn. She was good. He smirked mentally as his body was frozen, but as he finally got control of his limbs he let out a laugh. "Geez-Us Fuck. Of all the magics a princess could choose, you thought sex magic would be the best for you?" He laughed for a bit longer before standing up and streching against the morning sun. He found that hilarious but even that brush against his lips made his brain tingle in way he hated and loved. "Any adverse side effects to those magics for you? Besides whatever stupid joke your thinking up of like having to kiss me yada yada yada." He pulled that blade back out again and a few bottles and herbs, with a small bowl. He began to work on something as she talked, having a seat on the stone and plucking a few nearby flowers until he made a perfect reddish colored dust. "There you are. Being of witch background, my magic more relies on making something. For instance." He then blew some right into her face. "Magic powder that blind someone for a minute or longer if i make it more stronger."

"Oh...well that is okay. You dont have to be my work out buddy. We can do stuff you want to do, but I can leave if you wanna do stuffs by yourself. That is ok too." His smile never went away, but faded down until it was more of a plain look on his face. He wanted to make friends and Mary seemed nice so he was going to be her friend dammit. He looked up at thr clock and saw there wasnt even much gym class time left and them frowned, not wanting it to end so quickly.

"Ill work out with you!" He said, if she thought it was boring doing it alone, then he had no trouble with doing it with her. "Except my weights are big..can you lift big weights?" He asled, tilting his head like a confused puppy. Thats what he was in a nutshell, a puppy, but lile a mastiff puppy, huge and the potential for harm. He nodded when she said he got along with peolpe. "Lots of peolpe lile me, they say I am nice so they will be my friend." What he didnt knoe was half of them just used him whenever they needed him then discarded the boy. Though he never noticed, only seeing the good peolpe was a curse and a gift. "Or do whatever if you dont want to lift weights.." he added after a bit, not wanting to make her do stuff she didnt want to do.
