I also feel the need to say that you should stop stating that you don't read very much. Almost all the books you've named are hefty books. An average novel is in the 300 page range. Your books are double that. You are a reader.

And did you like the books you read? Because I think that matters more than how many books you read.

What did you think of The Infernal Devices? I really enjoyed it. Then again, I've been a fan of Cassandra Clare. I also took a peek at what you've read so far and to my pleasant surprise, I saw Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation on the top of your list. I just read the novel online and read the published manhuas. I loved them! I was recently gifted the published novels, so I'll enjoying them again sometime soon. Hope you enjoyed them, too!

I understand about being a mood reader. At the end of last year, I picked 10 books to read this year. 10 books. I've read many, many books this year and how many have I read off that list of 10?? Just one. 🤦🏻

Well, maybe it was just me. Because The Marriage Portrait is rated very well. I've got my eye on her memoir, I Am, I Am, I Am: Seventeen Brushes with Death and the title, The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox, intrigues me.
