Looking forward to seeing where else you go! Happy reading!

I can commit to reading 5 books from July 5 to August 5. I think the challenge for me will be remembering to check in. 😊

I am Eman, from Egypt.
I have a lot of plans, planned to study cinema, architecture, speed reading and I am taking a course for taking delf a1 junior exam. I have already put actual pla..."
Hello Eman! Welcome! It's great to have you here. Sounds like you have some awesome and impressive plans — cinema and speed reading in particular catch my eye. 7 books is a solid goal. We're here to root for and support you as you achieve your goals.
Please take a look around. We have so much to do - challenges, group reads, buddy reads, and even team readathons. Join what looks fun and meets your needs!

Hi Kate! Welcome to the group! So glad to have you here. It's great to see you getting back into reading. Fantasy and romance are always a good choice! Aiming for 48 books this year is fantastic and we're here to cheer you on as you reach it! Besides our various long term and short term challenges, and group reads and buddy reads, we also have a readathon coming up that could help with keeping your reading going. I find that readathons often boost my reading.
I am a library lover as well. It's one of my favorite place to be. I also am a cozy mystery fan but I never thought to listen to them through YouTube. I mostly borrow the audiobooks through Libby or Hoopla through the library.
Looking forward to seeing what you read! Happy reading!

Happy reading!

Hi JennH. Thank you so much for sharing your excitement for me. I am beyond amazed at how quickly I read 25 books this year. And like you, I am even more excited to see what reads I will..."
Oh no! We are going to ward off any reading slumps. None of that is allowed here! I'll be cheering you on as you fall in love with many more books this year. 😁

I'm in such a wonderful reading groove this year. I'm having almost as much fun picking out books as I am reading them. And with all the many challenges I'm participating in, I'm discover..."
Doesn't it just feel great to be in a wonderful reading groove? I think that's what so wonderful about challenges, expanding our horizons. I used to be strictly a mystery reader and now I read so much more.
Yay for participating in the group reads and buddy reads. I need to be better about those. My problem is that I'm not a planner, so the timing never works out. For example, I would/could/should have joined the Little Women group read this month bc I was recently gifted a lovely edition of it. But here we are at the end of the month and I still haven't read it yet bc I didn't have the time. 🤦🏻
My favorite... let's see, I've loved Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation: Mo Dao Zu Shi (Novel) Vol. 1, both the novel and the graphic novels. I also enjoyed James as I mentioned before, Lore Olympus: Volume Six, All the Colors of the Dark, Out of My Mind... Can't pick one. It's like being asked to pick a favorite child. Can't do it. 😂

Oh, that's good to know. I'll try to get to it sooner than later, probably after the readathon. 😀

that message made me happy! 😊
It definitely felt good to check off that 500+ page book goal early in the year. But June has been Summer busy, so I’ve been slowly chipping ..."
Aw, I'm glad my message made you happy.
I really enjoyed Hamnet, too! It really stuck with me.

Same, I'm not ready for it to end. I haven't read it yet but I hope that I'll get sucked into her new series as well.

That's awesome. I have to get better at doing that. Any favorites you recommend? I've got Slow Dance and The Phoenix Crown on my TBR. And Now or Never bc Janet Evanovich is always good for a fun read. I loved Salt to the Sea.

Haha, I hear you on that. Reading is way more fun than grad school was.
