Welcome to our group, Deb! We're thrilled that you're getting back into using Goodreads and have chosen to join us! It takes a bit to get the hang of things and find the things in the group, but take your time and don't hesitate to reach out if you need help with anything.

It's wonderful that you read a wide range of genres. Mystery/Thriller, Romance/Romantasy, Sci-Fi and Christian/Faith-based – that's quite a mix!

I know it's not always easy to get time for yourself when there are little ones. I'll be rooting for you to achieve your reading goals of reading each day, working through your physical TBR books, and getting in a Group Read. The book journal sounds like an excellent idea to help keep you active in your goals. Happy reading!

YES! And there's still time left in the year to find some more... 😉

58421 Hi Arx! You have indeed overshot your goal of 5. Congratulations on crushing your modest goal! So glad that you are successfully reading physical books again. I am most impressed that you read 700+ pages in less than 5 hours. I guess that's what happens when you find books you love! 😁

Yay for reading more Cozy Mysteries! Themed cozies are fun. It's awesome that you're reading just to read now. Looking forward to seeing what else you read!

JennH, I've gotten my reading mojo back and hope to read more before the end of the year!"

Yay for getting back your reading mojo! I'll be cheering for you to read many more books before the end of the year!

I love that you're reading cozies. They're my go to when I'm torn on what to read. Who am I kidding?! They are always my go to. I always haunt the mystery section in the library, looking for new cozies. 😊 I've enjoyed the Seaside Cafe Mystery series by Bree Baker, too. There is something charming about the town of Charm. 😁

Hi Ronald! Welcome to the group! We're so glad to have you join us! Classic literature is an excellent choice. Classics are a classic for a reason! It's wonderful that you change up your reading goals each year. I hope you've been able to check off many of the books that have been on your TBR list for a long time. Please take a look around and join what looks like fun. Happy reading!

I went back to look at my ratings for the series so far and I think the first book, Every Heart a Doorway, and In an Absent Dream have been my favorites.

Oh, I absolutely love cozy mysteries! A significant portion of my read list is cozy mysteries, especially culinary cozies. 😊

Ummm...75? I think you've hit it? 😂😂😂

58421 Isn't it wonderful discovering new genres to love??

I'm a huge fan of The Hunger Games series. I've read the first of The Magicians series, not sure why I didn't continue. I'll have to look into the others. I've read a book or two from V.E. Schwab, Gabrielle Zevin, and Emilia Hart. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin stands out bc of the nostalgia and I unintentionally visited the Glass Flowers exhibit (it was absolutely lovely.)

58421 I love that Carmilla - Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu: Annotated is on your list. I was recommended it by a huge fan of the book and character.

I hope books can give you a bit of a brain break from your science based courses, when you get a chance to read.
