It is so awesome...I would have finished it the second night if I wouldn't have gotten sick but finishing up tonight and gonna read something light and fluffy next so that I can sleep without some disturbing dreams! lol

2013 marks the 200th anniversary of the first publication of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Wouldn't it be cool to have a challenge celebrating this wonderful book?
I thought that a mini challenge format would be perfect for that. Something along these lines:
2013 Pride and Prejudice Bicentenary Mini Challenge
Duration: One month from your start date. You can start anytime in 2013.
Rules
* Choose your level, choose your books and get to reading!
* You can use the same category several times unless you're aiming for Elizabeth Bennet level.
* When you've finished a book rate & date it
* Re-reads are allowed
* You can change your books, categories and level at any time
Levels of Difficulty
Mrs Bennet: 2 books
Charlotte Lucas: 3-4 books
Jane Bennet: 5-6 books
Elizabeth Bennet: one book from each category
Categories
#1 Sequel: Read a sequel of Pride and Prejudice.
#2 Re-telling: Read a story of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy with a twist (alternate reality, paranormal elements or just a secondary character's perspective)
#3 Present Day: Read a book inspired by Pride and Prejudice set in present days.
#4 Setting: Read a book set in the regency era (late 18th and early 19th century) in which the hero/heroine is English.
#5 Plain Facts: Read a non-fiction book related to the time period of Pride and Prejudice.
#6 Siblings: a) Read a book featuring a character named Elizabeth, Jane, Mary, Catherine or Lydia OR b) Read a book that deals with relationship between siblings.

Jennifer I don't want to bump your challenge out! Why don't I just try it once in feb. and see how it goes...we can do both I don't think it will be a big deal and then we can discuss it later in February! And I'll try to make it a bit different somehow so people will still want to do both...If I can't make it different enough then we will just stick with You Want Me to Read What?.
