That's right...I was just thinking of them pairing up. Well that takes some of the pressure off, but I would still like to hurry becuase you loose internet on the 29th so I want you to be able to help everyone get set up over here and everything running smoothly if at all possible!

It might be harder to come up with but maybe seasonal books...like either the cover or the content would work for Fall/Winter/Spring/Summer. We could also do Genres with books that are rated 4 stars or more for the challenges they have to pick from a genre they aren't as familar with...I'll think some more.

Okay guys I have a challenge sign up and a group sign up (whozits and whatzits)
PLEASE let me know what you are willing to do. Just post it in that thread and then I'll add you to the signup and you can get started...The Book Buddy challenges starts on tuesday the 27th so we need to have this up and going as much as we can by then☺ We can always add to it later too.
Index for the Challenge 101 [image error]What Is A Challenge?: Challenge Basics and a few challenge how to's.
[image error]Listopia: Learn how to use listopia to build challenge lists.
[image error]Making a Challenge/Reading Log: Learn how to creat your own Challenge/Reading Logs to keep track of them all. Plus learn how to Hyperlink directly to your orginal lists.

Yes you are totally making sense and I think that would be a great idea, and less threads...which is a good thing☺

Descending Numbers Challenge With a Kick!
Duration: September 10th thru December 31st 2011 (16 Weeks)
Difficulty: You Choose # of Books to Read!
How it Works
You select from the below categories and decide how many - in descending order you will read over the next three months. Then find books that match the below categories that you will choose to read to create your list!
♦
Decide how many Categories you will be doing If you choose 5 the first category will read 5 books you second will be 4 your 3rd will be 3 ...ect
♦Select which Categories you will want to pick books for, and Decide order The one you want to read the most books from will go at top, the one you want to read only one book from will be your last selection.
♦Create Your List in Descending Order Then you can fill books in that match the categories you selected.
EXAMPLE: You decide to start at 12. You choose Vampire Books, and read twelve books. Then Headless Hero/Heroines, and read eleven. Then Recommended from a Friend, and read to ten. On down the list to one.

Adding you now Dawn!

AGreed, and if for some reason it doesn't work or we need a visual list we can use this idea down the line☺

I like the Listopia because members can add a book that work I'n the list right?

I was looking for some inspiration in some of the other reading challeng groups out there (none are as good as ours will be btw;)lol but I can by these Reading Logs
http://www.goodreads.com/topic/group_... Might be worth keeping in mind... though I like the listopia idea better☺

I invited Anino from the Gotta Have PNR with a Kick group to stop by and see if her group want to be a part of this too☺
Also I changed the name from Mod Squad to the Usual Suspects...it didn't feel right to keep the Mod Squad since Jen and maybe others will be a part of this, but Rin promised to think of a great name, so as soon as Rin uses that brilliance I will change it again!☺

Okay, changing the name and will start looking for a better group graphic, if anything comes up with a Factory with a steampunk feel send it my way! And speaking of Steampunk...here is the link with the victorian clipart, they even have a steampunk section, plus I'm sure we can find more. You don't have to use this for you graphics, I'm just giving you tools☺

Jen however you think it will work best is fine with me. And I know all about OCD flare ups!LOL

Post your 2011 GoodReads Reading Challenge Goal Here!!!•Creat a Goal and Track your Progress
•Post Updates letting everyone know how your doing!
•Get recommendations for books to read for your challenge.
If you haven't started your Challenge go to 2011 Reading Challenge and enter your goal...it will add any books you have marked as read in 2011!!!(*I will add a link to GRs How to for marking books read during certain year/month/ect... when that thread is up. Till then ask any question to one of us Mods!!!)

Dawn, Vicki, Rin...you want to be Mods? I don't want to push, but I want everyone to be as involved as they want to be☺
I'm getting excited, it's starting to come together nicely♥
Also so far you have one name suggestion for the group
The Challenge Factory (from Tegan) I really like this, I was thinking we could go with a kind of Steampunk theme because of the "factory"...hmmm, I even have a great clip art sight with victorian clipart to use in the threads...But if anyone else has suggestion please let us know!!!

Well maybe just don't do it in Oct for now (on this site) most of the member will be from one or both of the groups, but you can add it if/when we get lots of extra members. Or we can do something else but similar for here...

Tegan that's fine with me if you want to run them all (and of course I'll help however) you can always downsize later if it gets to be to much. Does everything else look okay to you?
