51477 So I finally got around to finishing Of Silver and Beasts by Trisha Wolfe , and it was like a steampunk Hunger Games with a sexy twist. Really good, but lordy I need a light read now!!

Going to get to Breaking Glass by Lisa Amowitz , an ARC of Moonlight (Moon, #1) by Lisa Kessler , and Faking It (Losing It, #2) by Cora Carmack over the next couple of days!

51477 Laura just reminded me (Thank you!!) that I've yet to send out recs for this since it's release *bangs head on wall*, but here's the link for Escape from Paradise by Gwendolyn Field !! I know the Dark Duet fans will absolutely love this one, it's equally as dark and I think even more disturbing in many ways, and good lord trust me when I say you'll be drooling over sexy Colin!! I'll send out recs through GR this week at some point, but it's $.99 now so grab it up and give Gwendolyn's work a shot!

Oh, thank you for reminding me I need to send out recs for that one!! I actually got and ARC of Escape from Paradise from the author last month, she's a friend and is just branching out into this genre and I told her I'd give it a whirl. It's absolutely outstanding, I loved it and I'm hoping everyone gives it a chance because it's going to be a huge hit with Dark Duet fans! Thank you for thinking of me, though hun!! =)

Grabbed up Octavian's Undoing, thanks for the head's up!

LMAO!! No doubt, they're all so very delectable!! =) Braith is sexy as hell in the second book of that series, he's so beastly even when they're being "innocent". LOL

I often chalk up the oohs and aaahs over something like this to people simply not having read much better writing of similar stories, ya know? It was okay, but pales in comparison to authors who write the hell out of abuse/domestic violence stories! Like you said, moving on! LOL

Oh yay!! This series is definitely in need of notice, the creepy/suspenseful dystopian storyline and the HOT sexual tension make it a must-read! So glad you enjoyed it!!

Yep, that's how I felt! They were both childish in their reactions and thoughts, and he just didn't come across as masculine to me.

51477 Okay, so Breach (Breach, #1) by K.I. Lynn was filthy-naughty- heartbreaking heaven and I really need more Nathan...*fanning self*

I finally got approved for Losing Hope (Hopeless, #2) by Colleen Hoover and will start that once it finally shows up on my iPad!! Has anyone else had problems with lag time after sending it to your kindle from Netgalley? It seems to take hours to get to mine every time.

Anyway, while I wait I'm finally reading Of Silver and Beasts by Trisha Wolfe !

51477 Flew through Fractured Souls (Shattered Promises, #2) by Jessica Sorensen to get a review in this AM, I liked it better than the first one and it was HOT!!

51477 Victoria wrote: "Just started Lost (Lost & Found, #1) by Nadia Simonenko, I found it during the scavenger hunt game, hope it is good"

It was pretty good, I thought. I felt like the characters were a little too naive and immature for college-age, and there was a lot of melodrama, but it was worth the read.

I read both series close together, and I agree that there are a lot of similarities. But the The Captive series is a dystopian, and that underlying element throughout makes it have a different feel as the series goes on. I love both series, but Braith and Aria have one of those destined, fated love stories that makes it a lot more intense and sexy IMO. And I have to say, the last book Salvation (The Captive, #4) by Erica Stevens was one of my all-time favorite finales ever, it was awesome and well worth the wait!

Laura, that ending...damn. It killed me. And there was just no logic behind any of it. Really struggling with how to write a review, because I LOVED it otherwise.

51477 Oh, hell...just finished Every Rose by Lynetta Halat and my heart is absolutely crushed. Serious sobbing through that one, and ugh why??!!! I need a stiff drink. *whimpers*

I have to do a speed-read of Fractured Souls (Shattered Promises, #2) by Jessica Sorensen for blog review since it kept getting pushed forward, and I think I might grab up a really smutty read tonight to numb my mind a bit, so I'm starting Breach (Breach, #1) by K.I. Lynn !
