This sounds different from the norm. I love it! Not a college graduate yet but I am in my fourth year and anxiously praying for grad day, haha!

I have 4 Harry Potter books to my name because watching the movies simply wasn't enough😞. I have 2/3 Lisa Jewell books to my name, and I think about 3 Danielle Steel books😊. Bonus mention is a bunch of "Diary of Wimpy Kid" books scattered across the house, hehe!

Hi again! It's preferable that when you get a beta reader, you share it to them via email. If you don't want to do that, then when you put up a post you can add a drive or google doc link.

Hello Helen. Welcome! If you're looking for a free beta reader, you can post in the "Author seeing free betas" section. If you're looking for a paid beta reader, you can post in the "Paid services requested" folder.

I don't recall there ever been a case of a beta stealing a manuscript on here, so I'd say you're pretty much safe. But if you want to take utmost caution, then you could perhaps get the beta to sign a NDA.

I think this is pretty normal. It's normal for the doubt to creep in, the insecurity to creep in. But I think the first step is to actually pen it all down regardless. When you do pen it down, you can them begin to make adjustments and tear it apart segment by segment to improve it. Pen it down first, regardless of the shape or form it comes. Pen it down. Your first draft is supposed to be the most imperfect draft, because it's still very raw.

World building can be a pain, but just relax. Remember its fantasy, and basically anything goes if you just make it sound right and sensible🤷‍♀️. Goodluck😍.

If you then feel like you need extra help, you can maybe get an alpha reader in your corner. It'll work wonders! I hope this helps.
