Blessing provided excellent, very detailed feedback on my manuscript. She took on the task quickly then clearly spent considerable time reading it thoroughly. It was obvious that she read the whole thing carefully as she had extensive comments throughout regarding her thoughts and views and noted such for each chapter. When finished reading my manuscript, Blessing provided a lengthy document with chapter by chapter comments as well as comments in the manuscript itself. Even before she started, Blessing was easy to communicate with and her responses to my questions were quick and complete. Also, her prices are very reasonable. I am sorry for your rough experience with the paid beta reader. For a 80k mystery/thriller book, I am afraid that 3½ pages of feedback is wayy too small! There was no in-line commentary in your WIP as well?

There's alot of things to discuss in the chapter by chapter analysis! There's alot to discuss with the plot, characters, dialogue, pacing etc. I personally don't provide anything less than 8 pages of feedback. My least is 8/9 pages depending on the word count, length of chapters etc.

3½ pages of feedback for a 80k book is flimsy feedback.
