O, sorry. I'm busy at school but don't worry, I'm lurking around the thread. Haha.

Fine with me and it's been a long time since I came around. (from Lady Gaga's You & I) Haha.

Sorry Nicolle, I forgot to remind you.

Niyay! Good for you
Jill. I wish I could start reading the book but I'll try to finish it soon.
@Theresa: Nope, I'm still waiting for the book to be delivered by bookdepo. Ugh.
Lady Danielle, are you planning to do an experiment for the reading buddy like what you suggested? I'm planning to join if you gonna do it. Hehe.

I like the per chapter discussion but I think handling most of the members and updating things maybe it will took us more time and a little bit heavy for us. Well, that is a good suggestion for reading buddy threads.
@Terri: O! I can't wait to discuss the book with you and you sounds like a fan of this book! Niyay. If you have some good questions, PM me, so that I can sort some of the good questions soon in the discussion. Have fun!
@Desiree: You should! Haha. By the way, try to read some of Rizal's works like
Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not) and
El Filibusterismo.
@Cary: Naku! I want to read this book too even I did not vote this one when I was hoping for Rebecca to win. Still, why not try books that are inspiration of any current dystopia novels? Haha. Hey! Don't forget to join the discussion next month.
@Desiree: I'm glad you are willing to read
Animal Farm and I can't wait to hear your comments. Haha. Rizal's first name is Jose and he usually use Rizal as his surname. But his whole name is José Protasio Rizal Mercado y Alonzo Realonda, its quite long for a normal person's name. Hik-hik.
@Tayyab: You have to read it anyway, that book was too short for a day! Haha.
Rebecca is second place and 2 more votes needed to be on the top, unfortunately everyone love to discuss this one. Well, we can wait for the month of December. Haha.

Anyway, I only read
Animal Farm from that author and I liked it so much that I won't bother myself to read another from him. I also heard theat
Rizal, Philippines' National Hero, made a book inspired from that. I don't know how great is he in this book... But nobody can stop us to read it.

Description:
Signet Classics, 9780451524935Written in 1948, 1984 was George Orwell's chilling prophecy about the future. And while 1984 has come and gone, Orwell's narrative is timelier than ever. 1984 presents a startling and haunting vision of the world, so powerful that it is completely convincing from start to finish. No one can deny the power of this novel, its hold on the imaginations of multiple generations of readers, or the resiliency of its admonitions a legacy that seems only to grow with the passage of time.
Questions:
Soon to come...

Belated happy birthday
Nicole! Haha. Sorry for the late greeting.
I like
Lady Danielle's idea and I'm currently reading the book for the future questions. I'll announce the winner soon. Have fun!

Hi
Melissa, welcome to the group! I read
The Chronicles of Narnia 3 years ago and I was so disappointed and most of my friends too. But I'll give the series a try because I was a baby that time. Haha. Feel free to ask question and discuss some books!
Hi
Danielle, welcome to the group! Feel free to post comments, either harsh or not! Haha. We love to discuss classics here! Have fun!

Thanks for sharing your schedule
Martha and I'll try to read on time. Wait. Have to scan some old books.

I'm done reading first volume of
Sherlock Holmes and back to
Dracula.

Sige, sige.

Or we could read both books for one month? Well, a little bit harsh or let's make a new poll for the two books. Hehe. I think we have to create a thread for suggestions.
