Shortly after joining Goodreads I read a post talking about the books published the year you were born. This idea led to my decision to create my first ever personal challenge. Read the top 10 bestselling books from the year I was born. This book was not published the year I was born but was the second bestselling book a year later.
Enough seconds to make the poll, enough votes make our shelf, doesn't matter. Win or lose, I hope you check it out. Thirteen years ago, I thought this was a really good read and is an easy recommendation.
I nominate Peyton Place by Grace Metalious, 384 pages, 1956
