Thank you to Kitty and Lee-Ann respectively for their help and support.
Brilliant.In such esteemed company too!
I'm a happy man.
That is such a clever space-saving idea. I've never seen a desk built like that before.
The more books in a home, the warmer it is too. I like to see homes where books fill every inch of shelf space.
Hi Nicolle.Well I have downloaded the wrong version of Tales of Tomorrow girl and I've only read the title story. It is reminiscent of Philip K. Dick's shorter American sci-fi which I used to like so as soon as the exams are over by July, I'll download the rest of the stories. They should be good.
will be out in July, so we are preparing some interviews and reviews. I hope they are kind! I'll send you a copy to see what you think as soon as they get printed.
That is very true.It will come out just as examining finishes for me so it might be good timing.
I've just finished reading Tales of Tomorrow girl. I need the relaxation of a good read this frantic time of year. I'll write a review for it very shortly.
Thanks Nicolle. Yes, hopefully we're on the way now. Not exactly the quietest time of year ahead of us!
Excellent. I bet you felt a lot better after you ironed out the kink in the story. I alway notice glaring errors after having seen the finished product come off the press!I look forward to reading it in September 2012.
Cheers Richard. I certainly will, but I'll wait for it all to be "done and dusted" first. You know what life is like....
Well it is a regional radio station but it also broadcasts online. I won't count my chicken yet, as you know how life sometimes lets you down, but this is be something I would really look forward to. So I'll hang fire until it is all done and dusted!
I hope you're taking good time out from the pressure of studies.
I'm sure you're expecting to do well in the A-levels shortly, especially maths. I can't believe how quickly exams are approaching this year.
It is looking likely that there will soon be a radio broadcast in the UK of a new short story for 2012.I'm chuffed about that because it would be an ambition realised. Plus, I don't own a TV and love radio far more!
Here is a link for a preview of a video trailer for Playing Havoc, made by Ami Blackwelder.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_ksNZ...
Thanks Nicolle, but I don't think that the ISBN has been registered yet nor the official release date. As soon as the legal stuff has been done, I'll let you know. Thanks for all the help again.
Yes, because the story is set on an island! I'll send you a copy as soon as the paperback comes out then you can let me know what you think.
Hi Nicolle,I've just noticed that I think they've put the wrong cover than the one we agreed there.
I wanted either a male and female (for the romantic part) or two gritty male faces nose-to-nose as there is quite a bit of falling out. The two initial photos they tried were too clean cut and there should be more colour in the version we agreed. Hopefully all will be corrected before they print it!
And finally the publisher has revealed the cover to Playing Havoc.http://www.pneumasprings.co.uk/Playin...
I hope that the cover will appeal to both sexes. Comments welcome!
Finally the cover is being worked on. Four versions have been sent to me for approval. I chose one and returned it with more suggestions yesterday, typical teacher that I am.I've also been knocking together half a collection of "upbeat" stories.
