I will read Manda's new book tomorrow but not sure what else

The Father of her Son just became a DNF for me when it had the heroine have an orgasm while being raped (not by hero) when she was a virgin.

Just read Ruthie Knox's Flirting with Disaster.
Wow. The second book I read this week that blew me away .

I didnt. No clue.

Halfway through Tessa Dare's new book. It is spectacular !
I read Once Upon a Tower. I really liked it.
I still think my favorite EJs are the desperate duchesses though ...

I haven't read this but it sounds great.

I love all those authors. Try To Seduce a Sinner by Holt (although its the second in a series), Slightly married by balogh.

No clue

One of my favorites by this author...

Start a new thread in Monday puzzler Monday morning with an excerpt you like--substituting hero and heroine for their names. We will reas it and see if we recognize it--we might make comments that suggest what book we think it is but we won't say the author or name. Then Tuesday night tell us the Author and book. If you want to respond to someone's comment in between you can so long as you don't give away the answer early.

That's what makes reading your comments and reviews so interesting Janga! I have found some of my favorite books through you...

Partly the age difference even though Eloisa cheated a bit and made Josie a little older and Mayne a little younger. Partly I'm not a big fan of Mayne. And partly it feels like they get married under a misapprehension. Also Josie's stunt at the end bothered me.

I found I appreciated Imogene more after EJ pointed out that she was grieving and that many people really are difficult when they grieve. Having said that...whatever did she really see in that first husband? He wasnt' worth all that extravegent grief
I do love Rafe and I also really like some of the scenes and the secondary romance--I would not skip it. I have more trouble with the fourth book, actually.

I'm guessing this is May 13?
For the second time in a row I'm unhappy with a book by an authorI really like... Jo Goodman's latest book really bothered me. Private investigator or not, it's creepy that the hero searched the heroines house 3 times and its really weird that the heroine learns that and doesn't lock her door, and her behavior with the bad guy puts her in the TSTL category.
Sigh. Going to read some mysteries and non fiction; hoping the books being released at the end of the month turn out better.

I'm pretty sure I know what this is from...

Just finished grace burrowes Nicholas. A very weak plot and lots of character inconsistencies. It's hard to believe that the hero would limit his life so profoundly without even asking whether his assumption is correct. Even if he did there is no reason why he wouldn't tell the heroine what he believed and I think it would make a better book. Lots of distracting murkiness --does Leah know why her father treats her so badly? Does Nicholas? How does he know that Leah was entitled to an inheritance as well as a dowry and why does that matter and why wasn't the inheritance protected? Why the gratuitous stuff about Nicholas prior sexual history especially when it's inconsistent with his character....grrr. So frustrating .

I did read it! Whoops

I think I'm going to DNF the new Jane Graves.

Definitely haven't read it!

This is from Lord of Darkness by Elizabeth Hoyt .
I'm not sure he does lose his appetite for pigeon pie--I'll have to go back and look.
