"Welcome to Morganville."

Ha!
I had a good one with
, but forgot to write it down.
A guy is handing out pamphlets on how to prepare Armageddon -
"The End is near!" the man shouted again.
"Is there still time for hot chocolate?" Riley asked.
The End Times guy blinked. "Ah, maybe, I don't know."
"Oh, good," she said. "i'd hate to take on Hell without fueling up."

Technically, there's no set time limit. Feel free to set one for yourself. Or, if that means you'll likely just push the date back, I can set one for you to help you get motivated. =)
I like Ellington's Harlmen Air Shaft.

This one is for whatever you want to read. If you finish, you can do it again with a differenct song if you want to.

I know. I keep pushing it off. I need to read it by the end of June for a challenge, but it's not looking good for some reason. I own it, but I just can't seem to pick it up. I'm sure I'll love it so I don't know why I'm fighting it.

I really need to get back to this challenge at some point. I'm too close to quit.

I just started The Gathering tonight. Good timing.
"In every life there is a turning point."

There's a new challenge set up under Title challenges. It's the IPod challenge. Feel free to join.

Turn on your IPod, go to WinAmp, the ITunes Store...whatever you use to play your music on. You can even just turn on the radio. Use the name of the very first song that plays for this challenge. Hit shuffle so you're not tempted to cheat if you have to. Once you have the title, post it here and then read the word(s). If you're feeling nice, post a link to the song so that people can listen to it.
For this challenge you may use the first letter of a primary word in the title (excludes the, of, and, an,...), or of an authors name.
For example, you could use any of the bolded letters in the following:
The
Taste of
Night -
Vicky
Petterson.
Just remember to bold the letter you are using.

Anyone beside Ange want to sigh up to create a challenge?

Who would have thought that brown and green's are the hardest?

Shockingly, considering how big of an author she is, my library doesn't carry her. Although, she could be too racy for them.

I read Infinity, but not Invincible. Thanks for the other ones. I need to pick up Showalter, I haven't read anything by her.

=) I can't seem to get my last few letters unless I want to start using any first letter in the title.
