Winter 15/16 task 20.1. It has been modified for this season.

An anthology of one author's work with a different author offering an introduction, would not work. Does that clear it up?

Reading through a few reviews and the book synopsis, it looks like this will work.

20.2 Freedom Season
The Emancipation Proclamation was issued on Sept. 22, 1863. Read a book related to the American Civil War or a novel set in the American South. For the purpose of this task, the following state are the American South: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
