Read a book that was mentioned in a novel you read for the Spring or Summer 2015 challenges. The reference must be specific enough to apply to a single title. This task cannot be used for combo points .
It specifies a novel read for the Spring or Summer 2015 challenges. Which challenge quarter would be used for Summer 2023? Thanks

The eldest Chao son is in a love triangle with him, his fiancé Katherine, and pretty vivacious Brenda WoZicek. While the main characters are the three Chao sons, Brenda is very present in the novel as a supporting character.

Read a work that has an MPG of historical fiction AND a GR character list or GR book summary that includes the name of a real-life person.
The first listed Genre is: “Historical Fiction”. The book summary lists Robert Louis Stevenson and his “journal”. The premise is that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a work of non-fiction, not fiction, written by Robert Louis Stevenson.
The book is told in interleaving chapters. One set of chapters (about 60% of novel) is a journal, supposedly written by Robert Louis Stevenson; the other set of chapters is told 3rd person, centering on a 21st century environmental scientist named Rafael Salazar.

Just realized that Clifford D. Simak received lifetime achievement awards! Here's the wiki article:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cliffor...
The Science Fiction Writers of America made Simak its third SFWA Grand Master in 1977, after Robert Heinlein and Jack Williamson. In 1987 the Horror Writers Association named him one of three inaugural winners of the Bram Stoker Award for Lifetime Achievement,

So I'm going to add +05 Bonus points to my post #0487 - I'll do a new post to reflect the update

Read a book with a non-human main character. This can be a hobbit, space alien, dog, etc.
Our main character is Professor Peter Maxwell, a human “specialist in Supernatural Phenomena”. His best friend is a Neanderthal (transported from ancient days to “today”) named Alley Oop. The main antagonist is an alien that has adopted the name of Mr. Marmaduke. While Alley Oop looks humanoid, Mr. Marmaduke looks like a collection of fireflies in a large cylinder which is attached to wheels.

We Are Legion (We Are Bob) (Bobiverse #1) (2016) by Dennis E. Taylor
from goodreads description:
Bob Johansson has just sold his software company and is looking forward to a life of leisure. There are places to go, books to read, and movies to watch. So it's a little unfair when he gets himself killed crossing the street.
Bob wakes up a century later to find that corpsicles have been declared to be without rights, and he is now the property of the state. He has been uploaded into computer hardware and is slated to be the controlling AI in an interstellar probe looking for habitable planets.
It sounds like it would fit 10.3 Non-person series title, since "Bob" (in Bobiverse), while he began as a human being, is now an AI controlling a spaceship. It would also fit 20.7 Nonhuman, as "Bob" is now an AI, and not something with blood or lungs. Or .... maybe not .... as "Bob" began as a fully human male, in the first few pages of the novel. I've been going back and forth about this, so I figured I'd ask. :)
