That makes sense…how about How Far the Light Reaches: A Life in Ten Sea Creatures? It’s a series of essays each about a different sea creature? Would that count as “main character”?

Would witches or vampires work for this one, since they’re supernatural but still in a form we’d recognize as “human”? 😬 I am thinking myself in circles on this…

I've been a little behind on the reading front this month :-/
While looking for something to fit this task I've realized that with the whole new/awful goodreads format, I can't find a GR character list anywhere...did they get rid of it, or am I just missing it somewhere?

Ooh! Just remembered another non-fiction series I insanely loved!
The Voices of Utopia series by Svetlana Alexievich (The Unwomanly Face of War: An Oral History of Women in World War II, Zinky Boys: Soviet Voices from the Afghanistan War, Voices from Chernobyl: The Oral History of a Nuclear Disaster, Secondhand Time: The Last of the Soviets, and Last Witnesses: An Oral History of the Children of World War II). Any of these books would also combo with 20.6.

I recently read Shakespeare’s War of the Roses series…those should all work ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also August Wilson’s Century Cycle.
