35559 Hey, Stacey! I’m a challenge junkie too! It’s too fun to pass up! I love team challenges and the camaraderie we build. I’m too busy to be on my computer for hours on end so some things pass by me but I’m always ready to play!

Question: Our word is CROW but we have a lot more than 4 people on the team so how does that work?

That's so cute. I just love little innocents!

35559 Okay, now that I have a wee bit of time I'll introduce myself to those of you who don't know me and that is most of you.

I'm probably the granny of the group. It's okay, not everyone gets to live to my ripe "old" age. LOL But as my mother used to say, "Age is just a number and my number ain't listed." Only I list mine. I'm going to be 69 in January.

I have 5 children ages 48 down to 39 (3 girls/2 boys). I also have 20 grandchildren ranging in ages from 24 down to 6 months and I have an even number of genders: 10 boys/10 girls. And I just became the proud grandmother of my 4th GREAT grandchild! The genders got messed up there but that's all right. LOL I have 3 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. The funnest thing right now is that the 3 youngest greats plus my 20th "regular" grandchild are all under one year old! LOL So Audrina is 11 months, Liliana is 6 months, Jay is 5 months, and Warren is just six days old! What a blessing they all are!!!

I also have 2 dogs and am a huge dog lover!

I'm a retired (May 2017) high school teacher of 25 years. I taught English and yearbook. :)

Reading I now have time to do! My favorite genres are historical fiction, mystery/thriller, paranormal and fantasy but not too much into sci-fi.

I'm excited to get this one going and meet all of you. I don't know how this challenge works yet but I'm ready to learn!

No, and historical romance is one of my favorite genres, too. One was contemporary romance and the other had only 10 reviews so far. It's listed as cultural and fiction but it was pretty cute: Happy as a Partridge Life and Love in Madrid by Kate Boyle

35559 I actually read two books that took place in Spain and they were decent as far as I'm concerned. I only posted one but I think if I read one that's all I need to do. If I can help in any way, let me know.

35559 Don't Worry Be Happy

I had to move my option 3 down here because I had to many characters to keep it with my other options. I guess I went crazy finding these words and had to eliminate some due to how many there were. LOL

Option 3
Scavenger Hunt!
Find as many of these words/phrases as possible in the books you read.

I finished my Spain book yesterday but I might do another one. Don't know that I could use it here but I had found it and it looks so cute. Then I was reading another book and it was set in Spain which I didn't know, so I figured I'd use it since I finished it first.

On the MPG its setting is listed as New York AND Spain. The MC lives with her mother in NY and there her father lives in Spain and she grew up quite a few years there. I'd say it's probably half or maybe more. But once I saw MPG with Spain, I figured I'm good. :)
