I am not surprised they're vomiting. Swimming in the Seine...ewww"

Haha true!

35559 I found a quick book from the library for the set in Australia task - it was still open on the tracking sheet so I’ll start that unless I missed a post and someone is already reading for it

Thanks - I’ll grab them!

I haven’t watched it, and don’t even realise one was made until I got the book and found there was a “movie tie in” cover! 🤣 I’ve put it on my watch list and would like to watch it - maybe after the Olympics

I just finished Songbirds and I compelety agree. Snow is fascinating! She gave that balance of him being young and “not evil” while still having psychopathic tendencies 🤭 I would love Tigris story about how she went from his supportive cousin to where she is in Mockingjay

I was also surprised to see Skateboarding as an olympic sport. Didn't know that either hehe."

I felt that way about breakdancing

It seems the definition of sport is quite wide 🤭

35559 We get pretty much everything on replays because of the time difference. A plus is that it means we can watch highlights so I did just watch all of Simon Biles so far back to back. She is incredible

Oh nice. We stayed there just after covid lockdowns - 2 years ago. My sister and her family were meant to come but they all tested positive the day before flying out!!
It’s a lovely resort and the restaurant on the beach is always quiet and perfect for lunch

35559 Hi all

I’m back home again and it has been a tough transition this week back to cold weather and work 😬

I finished a book and will update shortly. It was the last of the Maggie Hope series. I really enjoyed it but also sad to get to the end of a series

I have now started The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (The Hunger Games, #0) by Suzanne Collins which I had no interest in until I just finished the reread of Hunger Games for this challenge! It is a completely different narrator for the audio (thankfully) and so far is a really interesting back story for Snow and Tigris
