I would like to participate in the maze (but I'm also not worried if I never get a book on there). If I'm specifically reading for a task, I can read a 300ish pg book in a day, maybe 2 if I started late in the day.

If you want to use Kimber's book for the sword, you can move my Sword book to the "R" letter (character ROMA)
I don't mind!

I'm really hoping I can read a bit more next month. I've been having headaches at night, which is when I read actual text... and it's just not been happening.

Most of the books I have read the last half of this month have been audiobooks I've finished while working. I miss actually reading.

I'll leave my question there to be answered though, so others might see the answer!

From what I can gather Yasmine, the book needs to be started after June 1, but the books can be finished anytime after that until the Maze is completed.

For the main challenge - if we start a book after May 15th, but don't finish it until June 20th, where can it be used?

On a different note... I got a task on my personal Maze of: Read a book that has been turned into a TV show, and since The Duke and I is on my list, and I've been reading less efficiently than usual, I think I'll be altering my original plans for this month and doing this book, while saving some of the one's I'd planned for later in the challenge. So, we're all in with the Bridgerton theme! :)

This definitely makes me feel better to know and will hopefully assuage any irritation or frustration!!!

Also, I really don't want anyone to think I'm irritated (etc), because I'm not at all. I think this Maze thing is super cool and I'm really enjoying this team challenge!

I personally agree, I don't mind where my books go... and if everyone shares that view, I think all will be just fine... but considering human nature, I doubt everyone will be as magnanimous. 🤷🤷

Hi! I'm posting this here, instead of in the supergroup, because I can't seem to figure out how to make it sound not snarky, and that's not how I am intending it. Maybe I'm just understanding the Supergroup mini wrong, and I don't want to start something ((eeek))...

I know it's stated that the Maze will be a free-for-all... but will there be any guidelines for who is reading for the only viewable task (since we can't prepare for another book until that book is finished?) considering the number of people in the group?

I'm not intending to sound negative Nancy, I am just thinking that some of our very quick readers may end up (unintentionally) being the only readers, and will that bump out some of the readers that read more slowly or perhaps have less time to devote?

Just checking in. I ended up being held up with work more than usual (I'm sure having surgery didn't help) and busy over the weekend and I haven't finished my books yet. I'm CLOSE on the big one, so hopefully, I can get it done in the next day or so.
