Ok, I'm back to a computer and normal reading.

I started Until Next Time this weekend, but haven't yet made much progress. I'm not sure about its potential tasks.

I just started A Game of Thrones this morning, which may take me a few days to get through. I'm not sure what I have going on at work this week, so that will influence my speed.

I have decided to not consider the Battleship challenge this round, due to being utterly lost, but if anyone knows if any of my books will work (as I go), I am happy to have them used (or not).

Hi! I missed a ton due to crazy work days.

I'm super confused about what is going on with Battleship. If someone could break down what we are supposed to be doing to read a book, that would be great. I'm lost.

I may not get any reading done this weekend, but I will be back at it for sure on Monday. Things are always wild for me on the weekends.

Are we volunteering for books or is it randomly assigned? I'm lost! haha

I wanted to share my genre sheet for the Supergroup Battleship Mini. I made it editable so if you want to add books that work, feel free! I thought it might help us find books quickly. If not, just ignore it. I'll be adding as I find things!

I'm considering a few things right now. What are the rules for books for the Supergroup? Can they be used for mini and supergroup, or only one? And when will the supergroup books "begin"?

Rules say:
This challenge will start at 9pm UK 1 July, and run to the end of the challenge - 6 weeks.
Only books started after the start of the mini challenge can be used. (I assume this means the supergroup)
Books used in Trojan Warships can't be used for any other mini.

A few of these books are possible for the supergroup as well, genre-wise... so I'm trying to decide if I should wait on them, or just go ahead.

What are we thinking is best? Which gives us more points? I'm assuming the supergroup gives us 5pts per book we read, plus whatever supergroup points we accumulate, but I'm thinking we can potentially get more points with the monster mini if we have team members focused on different things? Just thinking out loud.

Also, I don't know where these books were when I was looking earlier... maybe I was too frantic because I needed to leave... I think this one is shorter:

Could this work as an open plain, or no?

I've got 2 books that work and I added them. If we want to shift and use something else that works better, feel free to move them!

Has anyone found an open plain cover? I searched through all the audiobooks from the library and couldn't find anything. I did snoop and see some KU options on other teams' sheets, but I wasn't super inclined to read them...

Also for Medusa 1.0 and Medusa 3.0 we are looking for 2 snakey-poo's! ahahaha

Looks like we should have Medusa 2.0 and Charybdis done!

Actually, I see it and added it to the Medusa 2.0 - she's done Bernadette or Melissa if you're around to submit!

Also, we need the Open Plain cover for Nemean Lion, and it'll be completed.

Anything else on the tracker that needs a place? Do we have more snake covers, it looks like we need 2.

Ok, finished A Mirror Mended for one of the mirror tasks... so Medusa version 2.0 only needs the Snake task to be complete.

Alaina did you finish a snake-y cover? I can't remember what you have going atm!

Alaina, yes, you just need to answer 3 days worth of questions (if you check the thread, it's pretty easy)

I'm not sure about the mirror thing... I'm reading the other now, but I had to pause for work... I just looked at the tracker to get that number, but if it wasn't updated, I could be wrong??

A Mirror Mended

Will work for mirror task. I was going to read it, but it's short and I'm trying to read longer books. That being said, if no one wants to read it I will. It is less that 150 pgs and I found it on audiobook, so I could have it done very quickly.

Please advise.

Actually, maybe I'll just read it ALSO, since we need at least 2 mirrors right now. Anyone want to buddy read, lol?

Stymphalian Birds pgs
Mares of Diomedes character gets poisoned (this takes some imagination)
Erymanthian Boar character gets drunk
Polyphemus (Cyclops) character engages in some sort of trickery
Lamia someone is kidnapped



Also, this was a weird book. Very eerie, but VERY GOOD. I really enjoyed it... I read it in one afternoon, while trying to function as a human... lol

I just finished You by Caroline Kepnes and it works for Medusa and Lion for page numbers if we want to use it there. If not, it has other Monster uses. What should we do?

Anyone reading this? It's got snakes! on the cover! and it's the BOM!
