Hi everyone!
I'm Tina, one of your three co-captains for Team Ajax. There's quite a few people I've met before but I'm keen to get to know everyone more in the next three months. I've been a member of NBRC about the same time as Deanna and have done all the Tower Teams since the Harry Potter one. So, please don't hesitate to ask us any questions!
I've lived in Melbourne, Australia all my life - a special hi to my fellow Aussies, Lisa and Elisabeth). I work full time in a Clinical Trial as a Research Support Officer which can get intense someties. I've got one cheeky rabbit and a very cute French Bulldog who I share custody with my parents and siblings. My family is Greek (so I sign up for anything Greek related) so when we first got our rabbit, my mum wanted to name her Aphrodite but I disagreed and named her Athena hoping Athena would favour my rabbit, which I believe she has. She's 6 years and has a strong character.
I like to read different genres but often fall back on fantasy, paranormal and contemporary. I listen to audiobooks and so I tend to listen to non-fiction more. Mostly in the self-help or psychology areas. I've had
The Handbook for Highly Sensitive People going around in circles in my head since I read it so I am thinking it's currently my favourite book at the moment.

I'm Tina from Melbourne, Australia and this is my 4th wheelathon playing with new and familiar faces :)
I work full-time as a research support officer in a clinical trial which has been very interesting. I've got a french bulldog my family and I look after an a cute, fluffy and big rabbit names Athena who is the size of my frenchie haha.
I tend to read books that fit with my mood - autobiographies, war books, mysteries, YA books, sport romance (resulting from one of these team challenges) and now it's random fantasy books
I have never watched a Doctor Who episode but know one of the doctors played Barty Crouch Jr in Harry Potter - which he did really well. haha

I'm sure I'll see you in other challenges and groups and hopefully on the same team again. I'm sure I will with the Aussies here hehe.
I hope everyone had a good time with this challenge and did read books you normally wouldn't pick up. Hopefully you read a few that you really liked as well. We've done super well with what we have. We completed ALL the tasks which is an amazing feat in itself and I am honestly impressed by everyone.

I've got our story in the spoilers here
(view spoiler)[Our story begins with a pinch of mystery, a slice of fantasy and a sense of calm before the storm which does not last long in New Orleans, does it?
Our group awakens in their base camp at the nicest Bed and Breakfast, to sirens blaring notifying them that the radioactive cesium that is kept safe next door (which was a large quantity) has been stolen.
Prince Drek is the first to wake with a groan, face flat on the cold hard ground, arms spreading around him trying to feel for the source of the pungent smell around him. He finds the smell coming from a mug... a mug that had tea in it.
"No, that's not right", he thinks. "Sleeping draught" he murmurs.
Jessica Shaw stretches out next to him, narrowly missing kicking his head. Together they wake up the rest of their team by shaking Lia, slapping Dracula and poking Mercedes. Mercedes Athena Thompson Hauptman is the only one who dresses up in the group as she is wearing a silver blue V-neck dress with beads, gems, and crystals with blue silver chandelier earrings, dark hair, red, pouty lips and an admirable death glare'. Mercedes often states her 'only "superpowers" are that I turn into a thirty-five pound coyote and fix Volkswagens'.
"What is going on?" asks Lia. Princess Lisa had escaped an arrange marriage and travelled for 5 years in an epic, reckless and terrifying journey that empowered her, deepend her spiritual connection and physical strength.
Beast, or Prince Drek replies with a growl that came from his inner dragon shifter, "We were drugged. Our tea that we had was laced with a sleeping draught. We need to figure out what is going on".
"My phone isn't working", says Jessica. "I can hear screaming again. I think the ghosts want to tell me something". They all stop and listen to her. "Disaster struck as an EMP destroyed everything electronic. No cars, no planes, no phones and no electricity. They said I'm a witch and Beast, you have fire magic."
Prince Drek or Beast, as everyone calls him, came from space to Earth before the ill-fated, mated werewolves Charles Cornick and Anna Latham caused chaos and mayhem on earth. It was a surprise the gang when they got their first glimpse of Beast's huge size and purple appearance but got over it quickly once they learnt he was in the military, specifically the air force.
"That will help defeat Anna and Charles. I guess it's a good thing that Jessica has an extensive knowledge of chemistry and traditional medicine". Remarked Dracula, a vampire with a gothic sense of fashion and killer attitude who is also the Marshall of the House Krahr - a very powerfuly vampire family. Charles retired from the marines which meant he was always armed to the teeth with weapons and had wilderness savvy which made him a strong opponent. He was looking to be a police officer but then he met Anna. Anna had wanted to live a quiet, happy life and raise her daughter as far away from her toxic ex-husband as she can get, which she did whilst using her ability to Borrow - the ability to put themself in another animals minds and can control the mind with great risk to her own. Everyone knew that when Charles met Anna, it was her second chance romance which he abused and abused Anna to the point where Orcs Warriors fleeing from their dying home who had landed on Earth, gave Anna's pregnancy to Charles to be taught a lesson on relationship abuse and what it is to be a woman.
All of a sudden, A mysterious woman in black, appears at night. Arriving in horse and carriage. Who often stays at Kyrme Cottage, then at night – disappears. She always wears black lace. She is a ghost that smells like lilacs.
"You need to find the important missing item. They are Baboushka dolls where a magical staff is kept inside. It will only react to the most worthy and powerful". She says and proceeds to tell them what to do. "I'm off to Yarrandarrah Prison (men's prison) now" and leaves.
Meanwhile Death is taking a break from coaxing the female MC into his isolated world by exploring death by windmill as a new form of death. Death is now travelling the best bakeries for muffins and Chai Lattes and searching for pies that are 'to die for'.

Before all this started, Anna had a feeling she was being stalked which was proved correct when a Local Woman went missing. The woman turned out to be her sister where she learnt she must rescue her long-distant older sister, Maud, who’s been exiled with her family to a planet that functions as the most lawless penal colony since Botany Bay.

Beast and Jessica need to find the moonlight child and start looking for a natural spring where the water is rumored to grant wishes, never suspecting that the spring takes in equal measure to what it gives. The secondaries go to the City of Tears to find Aflora (Earth Fae Royal) and her 4 midnight fae mates and meet a black magic kitten that has an beast within. Along the way they steal a list of items: including a stethiscope, some old flannel trousers, a box of chocolates, a slashed rucksack and a diamond ring found in a bowl of soup to give to Merit, a sword wielding vampire that can turn invisible and used to be a boring man turned into vampire and continued his boring "life" until he went to a high school reunion and old friend was a paranormal investigator and pulled him into her cases.
Jessica did tell the other that she found out that because she has blood of gods, she has 7 other siblings who are godly and seeks to search for them for back up. On their boat ride to Mirrorland, Anna and Charles trap Beast and Jessica in a boat that goes down in the middle of the ocean where some of the crew die and our MC are presumed dead. But during their journey, Jessica trained to be a lethal assassin at the Zodiac Academy, which helps get them to escape the wreckage and get to Mirrorland and go through the labryinth without dying or getting stuck. Ghosts haunt the protagonists and communicate through manipulation of objects. They seek out Jake Livingston who can see the dead's deaths replaying over and over again and which give him an insight into their deaths caused by the antagonists. The end up at the bookshop on the corner where girl scout troop float has a dead body dressed like a witch. They run inside as bees (lethal ones) are sent by the antagonists to the protagonists. Four random people invade a cabin in the woods (in our story it's the bed and breakfast) occupied by a small family on vacation claiming they have had visions and if the they doesn't willingly sacrifice one of them then the world will end". Jessica then gets stabbed by a chicken in the face but her godly blood reveals it was a demon and that she's fine. They step outside and Jess falls like a sack of potatoes off the building and needs to see an emergency doctor. But they find They find the Cherry Picker's Daughter who heals her. Jake appears then Jake and The Cherry Picker's Daughter send them a whole bunch of guards with special skills.
At the final showdown, it's revealed that Anna and Charles had issues when they were camp counsellours together. Beast reveals that he found Anna's sister who he thought was a phoenix but was actually a sea witch. He won't give her back until she tells Jessica the truth. Anna tells Jessica that she her biological mother but was kept in an elaborate web of secret-keeping and lies showing how protecting those we love can quickly turn into betrayal. As a peace offering, Prince Drek Ros Karmada helps Anna reach her long lost older sister in space as long as she and Charles help them overthrow the government that helped caused this disaster. Anna and Charles's find peace with wolves at Willoughby Chase and settle down. The devil comes reaps the bountry of bad guys to take to their domain. What a happy ending. (hide spoiler)]
