Haha no worries. I have no idea how to describe coffee as I've never really drunk it and tea is more my thing. Hopefully someone can come up with a way to describe it. All I've got so far is 'organic black coffee meant to...'
We need to add a description to our meals in the Shop front tab. I'll make some up on Saturday but feel free to add some in too

When you edit your comment, see how many characters you have left in that comment. Look underneath, to the right of the comment box and you can see it there. If it's not that, then I'm not sure what's wrong!

Good question Carrie. I'm not too sure. I think for now, add a link to the answers in column L, M, N+ in the books read tab. Maybe you can ask in the Q&A thread?
I just started reading it after your reminder! Haha. So far it's okay. I'm going to try read 100 pages a day to get it done before sep 30 but probably won't happen
50 characters are a lot! and probably too much tbh. I

Not sure. I'll send her a message
Hey guys. Sorry I've been in a bit of a funk the past week. I finished a short book, added it in and cleaned up the Kitchen Meals tab to make it a bit more clearer. I hope you guys are okay with that. I highlighted a few cells in light pink so we know that it needs to be finished
Carrie wrote: "I'm getting ready to go. Haven't picked my book yet but that's next on the list. I'm going to make a list so I can have a reminder of what words I'm looking for while reading! My library book for t..."sounds like a plan Carrie. Hopefully the book doesn't get too delayed
Looks good Lisa! The only thing, in the kitchen meals tab, the completion date goes in column C in Date read. For column K, we put in yes or No once for that meal
I still don't know what book to read next. I'm waiting for a genre mood to kick in so I can hurry up and choose a book to read
Lisa - (Aussie Girl) wrote: "I can't believe it! The last two books I've read have had "vinegar" in them. What are the chances. And of course when I need it for the challenge it probably will be nowhere to be found."Or when you've just finished a challenge and then you read books that would have worked perfectly for the challenge!

I've found 4 books so far with vinegar in it for fish and chips with vinegar. I'm sure I'll find others down the track. I've added the books into the SS so I don't forget about them.

I agree with you Carrie! Scavenger words looks like it's our best bet in getting more meals and points.
Also, I don't know with book count. I doubt anyone will actually stick to what they've said in the sign up. We can probably read more books if it's a smaller page count, and less book if we go with higher page counts. I'll say with me it's 2-3 books per week of 150-300 page books.
I'm trying to wrap my head around this so I'm sorry if I repeat anything you guys have said previously (and correct me if I'm wrong)...I'm kind of thinking for the first round we can read anything we want and make sure we keep track of all the information (spell it out letters and scavenger words). Then we can see what we need in order to complete the meals. I think I need to play with books we've read and see how they work.
It seems like we can make as many meals/drinks as we want BUT on the Shop Front Created Meals tab, there's a table that shows a minimum and a maximum for all those meals. I also think we should try and fill the minimum requirements for each meal. There are 6 that we can use the next month if we don't give them to the customer for round 1.
I agree with Rina... We should try and aim for making the meals/drinks with the most points. But I don't think I have it in me to read 500+ pages anytime soon expect for Chain of Gold (which I'm not enthusiastic about).
I'll read Chain of Gold for BOM.Ocotber's BOM will be
