35559 Greetings from Team Carrott Ironfoundersson!

description

With much discussion, our team has collated a few book recommendations for you! We've created a listopia for you which we are adding more books to.
We also have a comment section for books our team members have posted.

If you haven't already, we'd love to receive some recommendations for books your team has.

I must say, I did enjoy when the challenges started in our timezone Karen. It made life easier when due dates were approaching for challenges.

But I think it's fair to us all now that UTC is being used. I don't get mad and super confused with US time zones. I never realised that the USA had so many until I started doing these challenges with you all. I don't know how you guys keep track of them all with 50 states!

Love it Diane! I'll add to it when I've thought of some new recommendations.

It's so close!! Hurry up and finish your current books everyone 😂

Oh that's good then... minus the diet coke haha. I haven't heard of no spicy foods whist recovering so hopefully it's not too bad for it?

Looks good! Some of your books I've been meaning to read for a while. The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is definitely a book I enjoyed as well

35559 Kimber~☆♡Love of Books♡☆ wrote: "Hi
Can anyone let me know how to link a book to the spreadsheet please? Thanks!!"

Sure!
- Open up the page for whatever book you want to add in.
- Copy the URL for the book
- Go onto the spreadsheet
- Enter the book title in the next row and press enter
- Right click on it and select 'Insert link' and then press Done
- OR on the top left, click on 'Insert' and move your curser down until you see 'Insert link'

You can use the keyboard shortcut if you want as well

Hope that helps!

Oh gosh! Oh no! I hope you're okay Jessi! That's never a fun thing to deal with. Are you on a liquid diet for a bit? When I got my jaw surgery and wisdom teeth removed, I had smoothies to last me lifetime which I'm now off them

35559 May BOM Page Counts:

The Lost Orphan/The Foundling = 400
Equal Rites = 288
Dumplin = 400

35559 I forgot to mention that if anyone wants a tab on the SS to track their own books for this challenge, then feel free to add a tab for yourself and organise as you would like. Otherwise I can create a tab for you and set up some organised thing for it.

I tend to track my books in my own spreadsheet as well as a team one which is helpful to keep track of my books and challenges

Ooh yeah! I love V.E. Schwab's books! I'm happy she's done an adult book now. I did binge read her Poison Study series

Checking in once a week is fine Kimber! It's the minimum requirement but if you're away, I'll understand why you may not have checked in with us. 2 or 3 books in June is also fine Kimber. If you're away, I'd hope you would spend more time enjoying yourself :)

I'd say yes to your question Lisa. It's what we've done in previous TT :)

And I had no idea they adapted Good Omens to a TV show. I should really try and read it, then watch it... David Tennant and Michael Sheen are good fun though!

They look great Diane! I'll add them to our list

35559 @ Kimber - Bugger! Hopefully one of the books will magically appear between now and then at your library! One is perfect though :)

@Alysa - That sounds great! Hopefully Equal Rites is as good as you remember it being (if you liked it)

With BOM, The mods decide on a set page count for each BOM closer to the date. I normally add them into the SS and a few other places when the page count gets decided

Thanks Stacey! Maybe I'll be able to find the book by searching both covers and join in the BOM

Is anyone else interested in any of the May BOMs?
