"SPELL-IT-OUT RULES
Spell out the word(s) using the first letter in the book's title, the first letter in the author's first or last name, or the first letter of a character's first, last, or nick-name, or the first letter of the series name.
As always, if the first letter of a title starts with an indefinite or definite article ('A', 'An', 'The', etc.), you may use the first letter of the second word in the title to spell out your chosen word.
If the first letter of a title is a numerical digit, then you use the first letter of that digit for your spell out (i.e. 1984 is N; 2046 is T; 1Q84 is O)
If you are listening to an audiobook, the first letter in the narrator's first or last name also can be used.
We're also allowing for Translators names, as long as the edition you are reading is a translation version."

I've never heard that first names don't work before! I think it's fine. So you can do "A" and "I", then?

I’ve got Recursion started today( that I mentioned a couple days ago) that can work for C (author is Blake Crouch). It’s the BOM and also has been read by someone else. I'll do a selection post for that and look into any others that I can do too.

Oh I started to put mine in there actually but haven’t actually finished it yet. At like 70% so you can go ahead and out yours in #5! Sorry about that! And yay for novellas!

Oh haha no worries! And next time I’ll actually be able to participate from the beginning and can take on more books! I read a stupid amount. Haha

It looks like we are waiting on Zuza for #1 and #7, Sarah for #8, Kerri with #10, and myself for #5. If we can finish in the next few hours, then we should be good! We've got this!

I’m a quarter of the way through it already. I listen to a lot of audiobooks on 2x so I found something at less than 8 hours so I could fit it in before bed. Hahah. I’ll update in a couple hours!

I’ve finished for both 3 & 4! Do we want to post completion posts? And if so, with reviews or no? I’ve done it a few different ways in challenges... :)

Should I try for a bonus point book? If I can find something short enough that works, I’ll see if I can cram one in tonight before bed :)

Oh I just read that Sarah hasn’t finished for #5 I can look for something and maybe one of us can finish it in time :)

Can we start safe haven books before everyone finishes? If we finish them after? I’m thinking no, but figured I’d ask.

Oh right! Yes, I can do both 3 and 4.

4. That is more than 400 pages -
Qualification: 515 pages
3. That has the letters C-A-T in the title (in any order) -
Qualification: Has C-A-T in the title out of order

I will also do "C" for A-C-I-D in the Group 1 Safe Haven with
Qualification: Both a BOM after Sept 2 (won't start until after) and someone else has read it. and the author's last name begins with "C"

Kerri said over in the Find a Team thread that y'all needed someone so here I am! I am still trying to figure out how this all works (I read through your thread and it seems like I'm not alone? lol)
Anyway, it looks like everyone has the 10 books for this round covered.
Looking at the Group 1 Safezone - it looks like I can start spelling out A-C-I-D from books other groups have read or from NBRC BOMs. Let me know if I am interpreting that correctly. I'll start looking through what I have right now and see if anyone has read any of it yet/look at BOMs!
