35559 Thanks Nanci! Just did!

35559 Hahah rumpy pumpy! Yeah I never tag things except for challenges or like “hated” and “will read again”. Stuff like that. But I applaud the people that tag things more! Gives us something to work with. :)?

35559 Nanci thanks for letting me know! Oh well! I swear they say tree and forest like a thousand times in that book too. Sigh. Come on people who tag books! Haha.

Zoe,
I looked again..."

Okay all tasks should be updated and I tried to add at least one or two alternative letters for my books too.

Question: I have a book (The Year of the Witching) that I could finish before our deadline but it seems like we probably don't need another one - but if it seems like we could use it let me know and I will focus on finishing it tonight/in the morning. Otherwise, I'll save it for next round!

35559 Oh weird. It must’ve not saved last night. The app is always finicky. Sigh. I just did it now! And thanks! I think it was good for me to reread books that I really like because it means I read much faster and can fit more books in during our rounds. :)

35559 Hey Nanci, I added Mockingjay last night so it should be there. And I did update The Streets Have No Queen before and updated the page count on the spreadsheet. :)
Aug 05, 2020 09:59PM

35559 Nanci I meant to do it today and for caught up in an unexpected issue. Sigh. I’ll make sure to get them all done tomorrow! Thanks for the reminder!
Aug 02, 2020 09:23AM

35559 Oh weird. Let me check the edition. I did it on audiobook and just grabbed the first one I saw on editions so let me see which one it lists first and I’ll make sure the spreadsheet is updated. And yes! I need to put tasks in for everything still. I’ll do that today. :)

35559 The Streets Have No Queen is there now! Thanks! Also, I hated that book so I think I must’ve done that out of unconscious spite hahah

35559 Hey if anyone is looking to do Pachinko this month for the BotM and does audiobooks (or just wants it!), it’s on sale on Chirp Books right now. :)
Jul 25, 2020 08:49AM

35559 I’ve got a few books on the spreadsheet and am about a quarter of the way through my first book!
Jul 22, 2020 08:26PM

35559 If someone wants to read for an X or a C (the last two to finish that last one) I will do the other one! I think I can fit one more book in before the deadline. Let me know! If not, I won’t bother since just the one doesn’t complete the word so I might as well do it for next round. :)

Not generic! Those are GOOD books! Well, I don’t know all of them but I’ve read most and the ones that I have, I also would recommend. :)

35559 I might have missed this, but do we have an ongoing list of recommendations from our team? I was looking through other team’s posts and was like hmm where is ours?
Hope everyone is having a good week so far! I just finished my first Stephen King book in like 20 years and I have to say, he is just not my cup of tea. I enjoyed the story but it’s like...you know some people you meet and you’re like yeah there is nothing wrong with them and they are completely fine or even good people but you just don’t want to be friends with them? That’s me and Stephen King as an author, I think. Haha.

35559 Thanks Jessi!

35559 One more question - I just read the rules and wasn’t super clear on this - if I started a book before round 3 (but after the whole challenge started) but finish it during round 3, does it still count? I think the answer is yes but wanted to check.
Jul 10, 2020 04:55PM

35559 I can’t remember - do middle names of authors count if they use them in their pen names? I was about to start a book by Ibram X. Kendi so i wanted to check if it works
