I haven't done a group read in this group in a long time. Does anyone want to buddy read The Iliad with me?
I'm currently reading The Aeneid in another group, and I think I'll finish in the second week of June or so. I'd like to start The Iliad then. I might have to take it with me on a trip if I don't finish it before August, but one way or another I want to reread it this summer. I have the Fagles translation.

Finished The Enchantress of Florence & added it to the spreadsheet. An excellent book, but I almost wish I'd gone with The Satanic Verses. But that one's much longer, and it felt like too much of a commitment for me right now.

I actually finished a book for the letter M on the 18th, but forgot to update the spreadsheet. It's updated now. The Moonstone, which I listened to on audio, is one of my books for the Back to the Classics challenge this year (hosted at the blog Karen's Books & Chocolate). I liked it a lot, probably better than The Woman in White.

What book(s) do you hope to finish today? The Man in the High Castle (already started a few days ago) - for a group read in another group. I have to do some grocery shopping today, but maybe I can fit in some audiobook on that trip.

Are you sitting in your favorite nook? Well, technically I started reading just after midnight, just for about 20 pages before bed - but I didn't update because I was off the computer by then, I'll just count those pages when I have a chance to update my main post. So at first I was reading in bed, and then I read a little bit this morning, with a few cups of tea.

Favorite book snacks?

Tea, chocolate, and sunflower seeds.
