For the detour, in order to get maximum points, does everyone has to read a detour book or can 4 members read a detour and the rest of the team read any book?

Are you sure everyone has to read a detour book to get the points? My understanding is that at least 4 people have to read the detour book and everyone has to read a book to get max points. I will ask the mods to confirm..

I was so excited to read it and requested this from my library over a month ago. Now, I am seeing more and more unfavorable reviews saying that people DNF'd. Yikes!

I am all set with all my books from the library. The challenge starts for me at 5PM. Like I said, I will lose out on that day, but I hope to make up for lost time on Monday, as I will be off from work.

Not going to lie, I am a little intimidated by Spinning Silver, but I'm really hoping to push through it.

Also, a reminder to put all of your read books into your wheelathon shelves. And post the books you read onto the Read Books Thread. All links are on my post on the first page of this thread.

I see. Haven't read We Need to Talk About Kevin. I heard it's comparable to the movie "The Orphan" which I think also has a floppy ending. I guess it's one of those stories that's hard to give an amazing ending..

Crisis averted, I just realized I have an N book on hold for me at my library. Woooops. I hope I read all my books so I can read the B book. I'm dying to read Baby Teeth! Anyone here read it?

Yeah, The Name of the Wind is a long one. That's why if I don't have it by Sunday, I won't get to it. If you can do an N, I would greatly appreciate it :)))))) I have a B book I'm dying to read

Ughh when I checked last week there were 2 copies, now that I went to take it out, it's gone. Of course.. -_-

Finished my ISBN book. On to my last one of the trip, the world domination book. I also have one banked book if needed for the spell out

You have an N book to add? Lol I have a B book on deck but we are missing an N..

We are projected to win 1,035 points. Trying to find another N book to make up for lost points replacing my big book with a smaller book. It's hard!!!

And I kinda messed up. I just requested my N book from the library and the wait is 11 days.. going to need a plan B..
